A must do while in Paris! Great food…I mean great food! So so fresh. One of the best salads and sandwiches I’ve had. Great service too!

Πολύ ωραίο και χαριτωμένο μαγαζί. Με βιολογικά προϊόντα. Κοντά στους κηπους του Λουξεμβούργου. Οι καταπληκτικες κις Λορέν με ποικιλία γεύσεων είναι γευστικότατες. Έχουν λίγα και καλά. Πολύ ομορφα

Prachtige zaak in een leuk straatje bij het park! Je kan er ontbijten of lunchen op de hoek of een broodje halen in de winkel er naast . We besloten een ontbijt to go te halen en in Jardin du Luxembourg op te eten. Helaas is het veel te duur ! Ook voor Parijse begrippen. Bij bijna alle café’s en boulangers in Frankrijk kan je je petit dejeuner halen voor een normale prijs . Even zitten met je kop koffie, je croissant, je jam en je jus d’orange. Zo bijzonder is Bread & roses echt niet. Niet voor de service. Ze vergeten je bestelling op te volgen, je krijgt geen jam of boter, dus je ontbijt to go is een droge boterham en het is niet goed voor je budget om daar je ontbijtje te halen.

Bread and Roses has it all!
Aside from a warm welcome, friendly staff, an array of breakfast, brunch and lunch options and good value, B&R has the very BEST HOT CHOCOLATE in all of Paris!

I have been coming to the cozy Bread and Roses for several years, and the food is consistently delicious. It’s always difficult to choose among fresh individual-sized quiches made with seasonal ingredients, generously portioned salads, and sandwiches. Leave room for dessert! Their baked goods are yummy. And under no circumstances should you pass up their hot chocolate. Absolutely the best in Paris!!! The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. A real gem.

Il posto è davvero molto bello e il personale gentile. La posizione è ottima perché è affianco ai giardini di Lussemburgo, ma in una via calma e non rumorosa rendendo la pausa perfetta. Consigliamo il pollo al curry

This is my favorite spot to grab a treat while visiting Jardin de Luxembourg right next door. My favorite is the roast beef sandwich and chocolate chip cookies. I also love Selene who always waits on me with the best smile and energy. It can be difficult finding friendly service in Paris so I know I can always count on a friendly welcome when I come here. Highly recommend this place and if you can’t stay for lunch they have a little to-go bakery right next door.

Je viens de prendre une tarte au citron

Elle est bonne mais je m'attendais à ce qui est plus de texture différente à l'intérieur

En tout cas pour ce prix 7,50 €

Je m'attendais à avoir au minimum de la crème d'amande à l'intérieur ou un petit confit au citron
Sinon elle était très correcte la pâte était bonne et la crème aussi.

C'est juste que à ce prix-là on s'attend un petit effet waouh au minimum

Une adresse que je recommande vivement, tout proche du jardin du Luxembourg. En particulier, je vous recommande le kouglof, qui a une texture parfaite (bien moelleux) et un goût exquis.

J'y vais assez régulièrement, tout est délicat, goûteux et la terrasse au beau jour est très agréable. Une remarque, la tendance vertueuse est à la baisse du sucre en pâtisserie, voir en viennoiserie, je pense que Bread&Roses pourrait diminuer un tout petit peu son taux de sucre sans pour autant perdre en qualité, au contraire...

S small travesty that the store isn't named "Buns and Roses". In spite of that the paris brest pastry is delicious. Light, creamy, and not too sweet. The crunchy pralines really added something special.

Je suis allée acheter une quiche j'ai demandé à la faire réchauffer et le vendeur nous a dit qu'avec le monde il faut attendre 15min... Donc malgré ma déception je prends quand même la quiche. Le client derrière moi commande un couscous et le vendeur lui fait réchauffer ! Franchement pour le prix de la quiche le minimum c'est de la faire réchauffer. En plus le restaurant à côté était à moitié plein.
Entre nous mettre une quiche 1 min au micro-onde c'est pas très compliqué... (Oui c'est moins bien que le four mais c'est mieux qu'une quiche froide)
Bref la quiche était froide donc forcément pas exceptionnelle.

La présentation des produits donne envie. C'est beau...mais c'est vraiment mauvais!
J'ai pris une quiche. Elle était pas au niveau et encore moins au regard des 11 euros demandé.
Mais je crois que le pire fut le dessert. Un gâteau flottant dans du caramel chaud avec chantilly. Alléchant !
La réalité c'est un gâteau pas flatteur en bouche et surtout baignant dans un jus de sucre en guise de caramel. La chantilly manquait. Je suis alors allé réclamer mon dû et...j'ai reçu une espèce de crème liquide en tetrapack sorti du super marché.
Bref ce fut mauvais et j'ai été malade comme un chien. Mon pancréas a souffert de ce shoot de sucre sans aucun plaisir gustatif.
Bref à éviter sauf pour l accueil des personnels

When I first came to Paris 20 years ago this place always had a queue. Today you still have to queue. Worth it? Well yes. Staff were overwhelmed and busy but still very friendly and polite.
