Food was pretty good, a bit expensive and the staff is okay. We asked for a bottle of wine and the waiter brought a bottle (that we liked) without mentioning the price. So we drank it and at the end we were surprised by the bill. Usually if it's something expensive the waiter should mention the price first.

The worst thing about my experience there was the clam broth I got for my entree. After I enjoyed it to the last clam, I found a lump of black mush inside the clam shell. My friends told me that it is dirt, not something that they put in purposefully. I notified the staff about this and the staff was kindly enough to go ask the kitchen for me. The staff came back to me with an answer "that was black sesame." I hate causing a scene so I just let it go, but to say that the lump in the clam I found was black sesame was BOLD, I mean the ingredient was not even listed on the menu. This ruined my appetite completely and made me disappointed in the restaurant so much. I have photo of the clams before I ate it, the broth was clean at first, by the time I got to the bottom, the broth was blackened ????????. The food was mid, dessert was good.

Longtemps que nous n’étions pas venus, le lieu n’a pas changé. Les propositions au verre comme à la bouteille sont vraiment chouettes, mais nous aurions dû nous lâcher sur les entrées, parce qu’elles etaient vraiment plus intéressantes en terme de goût et de créativité. Magnifique friture d’anchois et carpaccio de Saint Jacques. En plat, il faudrait s’en tenir aux classiques basiques de la maison (boudin, andouillette) : la poitrine de porc etait molle, grasse, le riz pas cuit, et un soupçon de 5 epices ne fait pas tout. J’aurais voulu du fondant, du croustillant, c’était dommage. Un coup d’œil dans les assiettes alentour m’a confirmé que la truite etait bof, et que la portion de cheesecake manquait de générosité.

小小的餐廳卻有許多驚喜，如果要說這是法餐，不如說這是一間喜歡紅酒愛好的人喜歡的地方，前餐有蛤蠣湯、生魚片、海鮮湯、蘆筍沙拉，主菜：牛排、魚，每道菜的味道都不錯，適合搭配白酒，但是因為餐廳比較小，位置有限，建議最好提前預訂

Un peu cher pour les plats assez banales

La carte des vins est longue, nous avons commandé un vin et ils ne l'avaient pas, nous avons commandé un autre vin et ils ne l'avaient pas non plus, au final ils nous ont apporté un vin de leur choix.

Le Verre Volé, c’est l’adresse confidentielle qui envoie du lourd. Vins nature ultra bien sélectionnés, cuisine brute et précise, digne d’un étoilé sans chichi. Chaque assiette a du fond, du goût, de l’émotion. Paris a beaucoup de restos, mais celui-là mérite qu’on s’y attarde.
À refaire les yeux fermés.

Eccellente. Locale interno piccolo e alla francese con pochissimo spazio fra un tavolo e l'altro, ma il tutto risulta accogliente e simpatico. Cibo ottimo e con piatti molto interessanti e inusuali, buona carta dei vini. Servizio veloce e personale gentilissimo. Esperienza che merita di essere ripetuta

Nous avons plutôt bien mangé. Par contre le restaurant est sale et nous avons l’impression d’être servis par une bande de potes étudiants… un peu laxiste pour le prix.
Nous ne reviendrons pas.

We had a disappointing dinner here. While the food was good it was quite overpriced. The service was poor. We waited almost an hour for a glass of wine and had to ask three times. There was no sympathy from the waiters at the end and they had added it twice to the bill. It’s a shame because it seems like a really nice place and the food is very good.

If you do go we’d recommend the tuna, clams, and beef tataki

Rapport qualité prix catastrophique. La nourriture était insipide, surtout pour le montant de la facture. Un demi verre de vin m’a été chargé plein prix. Pour s’excuser, la serveuse m’a proposé un geste commercial qui ne s’est jamais concrétisé… Décevant, je déconseille.

The team is absolutely friendly and if you sit outside u’d have a great view on canal Saint Martin. I really enjoy going here whenever I am in the area.
