C'est toujours un plaisir de s'y rendre. La nourriture est excellente, bien que le restaurant soit petit, l'atmosphère est unique. Le personnel est très agréable et le propriétaire très sympathique. J'y prend mes repas plusieurs fois par mois, je recommande vivement cet endroit pour le déjeuner????

Recommandé par le Petit Futé, nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant pour déguster des boulettes, un bol renversé et du poulet aigre douce. Les plats étaient très bons
Difficile de se faire comprendre par les serveurs mais ils étaient très réactifs et serviables

La mauvaise surprise commença à s’annoncer quand je suis allée aux toilettes et que j’ai vu l’état déplorable des cuisines
Depuis, nous sommes presque tous malades

Best place to eat if you like chinese food, as a chef myself for 23 years, I can say they are the best, I worked in over 10 hotel in Mauritius, Work in Australia 3 state plus Norfolk Island and I can tell you, they are the best in terms of food taste.

Petit restaurant sympa avec beaucoup d'affluence le midi. La qualité et le goût n'ont pas changé depuis mon enfance. Le bouillon moonkiaw est toujours aussi exceptionnel. Je recommande????????

Café Shangai is a nice experience to live. Though the prices have hiked up lately and the sawmai dumplings are not what they used to be.

Yummy chinese traditionnal food. Its 'mine bouillie laviande' (boiled meat noodle) is a must. However the overall place may not be a fit for everyone...

Nicht vom Außenbereich irritieren lassen, sieht wirklich nicht sehr einladend aus aber wenn einheimische täglich den Laden zum Essen stürmen, versucht man auch was ungewohntes .
Auch der Innenbereich ist sehr einfach gehalten aber die Qualität vom essen und die nette und freundliche Art der Besitzer macht alles gut und man fühlt sich gleich wohl, willkommen, super lecker gegessen, im nächsten Urlaub sehen wir uns ganz sicher wieder ,

Like Chinese food? Then go check this traditional Chinese restaurant. Food was excellent and service super fast for a peak lunch time. Recommended.

Food is amazing there ???????? but it's too small inside. Quite authentic though, makes you feel that you are in an old town in China. But guys, you should really try their wantan in soup or fried one ????????????????????

Excellent chinese traditional menu in a old and creaky location. Don't be fooled though, above the noise and cramped space you will taste excellent food at an excellent price. The Moon Kiow special soup is a must and the best version of this dish in Mauritius by far!

Want to relive or simply experience the old traditional Chinese Food? Well Cafe Shanghai is the place for you. Once inside, you will be welcomed with the smell of an old traditional chinese place with a menu that dated for more 50years. You get that true chinese food taste, coming from generations before. From noodles, mine frit, riz frit and so much more, you will find yourself coming back to try something else.
Note that during lunch time, it may become too crowded and may sometimes be seated straight away. But its all in the experience.
