A charming hotel, beautiful style, right in the heart of of old Pau. Rooms are individually decorated, and very spacious. The staff are charming.
We also had dinner, a 4 course set meal, which was truly superb. Each dish was carefully and thoughtfully crafted, I cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Bristol. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable, the room was spacious, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. And you can't beat the location!

Ein wunderschönes, liebevoll geführtes und anspruchsvoll dekoriertes Hotel. Es hat unsere Erwartungen noch weit übertroffen.
Hier stimmt rundum alles: das überaus freundliche, kompetente und englischsprachige Personal, die individuell und mit historischem Charme aber modern eingerichteten Zimmer, due bequemen Betten mit 3 Kopfkissen zur Auswahl, ein top mrenoviertes Bad mit Doppelwaschbecken....
Besonders zu empfehlen ist es, hier auch das Abendessen einzunehmen! Das toppt noch einmal alles. Der junge Koch mit seinen inspirierenden Ideen zaubert ein Sterne-verdächtiges Menü. Und das Ganze geniesst man im Flair dieses hübschen kleinen Restaurants.
Diese Bewertung ist nicht gekauft sondern wir sind einfach begeistert, wenn Menschen mit so viel Liebe zum Detail Freude daran haben, Gäste zu verwöhnen. Vielen Dank!
Und einen besonderen Dank möchten wir noch an Marine richten, die uns viele wertvolle Tipps geben konnte bezüglich der Stadt Pau aber auch für unsere Weiterreise.

This hotel I felt like a 5 star. | From the service and warm welcome to the food and decor very Art Deco. Absolutely delightful. Don’t forget to look up! ||The retro lift was a treat we loved travelling in the elevator. It is like we stepped back in time in a wonderful way. ||We had the set menu in the hotel restaurant for dinner and it was delicious. The tables were set lovely and real embroidered napkins and candles. It is a true gem in the heart of Pau. We felt so welcome. Definitely coming back. ||Our room was something special. The eco touches in the room are great. Local products and no to single use plastic. Decor again is outstanding. There is so much to mention the shutters, tall ceilings, wall tapestry and more. ||You can reserve parking with you name which again is a lovely touch and it’s only a ten minute walk to the boulevard. ||We highly recommend dinner in the new restaurant.||All of the team and the owner were so friendly and welcoming you could not ask for more. We wished we had more time here.

Was für ein wundervoller Ort. So liebenswürdige Gastgeber, da geht einem wirklich das Herz auf. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und umsorgt gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind schön und passen hervorragend zum Ambiente. Der junge Chefkoch hat uns mit liebevoll gekochtem Essen verwöhnt, was sehr lecker war.
Es kommt selten vor, dass mich etwas so begeistert - aber hier stimmte für mich einfach alles. Vielen Dank

Accueil professionnel. Personnel très serviable. Pensez à réserver votre stationnement. Agréable salle de petit déjeuner et belle sélection. La chambre catégorie Suite Junior est plutôt une chambre supérieure : un lit, une causeuse, une coiffeuse. Pas de bureau, une grande chambre sans plus.

Cet hôtel est une expérience à part entière, un bout de paradis sur Terre où le temps s'arrête et la vie devient belle. De la beauté des chambres à la splendeur de la décoration dans les parties communes, en passant par la délicatesse du personnel, chaque détail est porté à la perfection. Ne changez rien.

Very cool top end hotel in Pau, all staff incredibly polite and service oriented, amazing room, super stylish decor, great bed and bathroom, good onsite parking, book in advance though. Old fashioned elevator all adding to the grand ambiance!

Highly recommend staying at Hôtel Bristol! I would even go back to Pau just for this place :-). We were welcomed in the most friendly way, and all the staff has been extremely nice and helpful during our stay.

We had three different rooms, which were all beautifully decorated with the nicest details and super comfortable to stay in. The hotel breakfast has fresh, regional products and is a true feast. Next to that, the hotel serves drinks in a gorgeous lounge and you can also have a drink on their small terrace.

Lovely little hotel. |The room was great and very comfortable. Staff extremely helpful and the hotel is very centrally placed. |We reserved parking on line which is probably a good thing as the park is very small. |The continental breakfast was varied and well worth the fee. |The only down side was that the walls of the bathroom don’t reach the ceiling which gives zero privacy for people using the toilet.

Hotel con mucho encanto y una ubicación perfecta para una visita a Pau. Las habitaciones son amplias, muy acogedoras, con unas camas que aseguran el descanso. Ademas es muy silencioso. Tiene parking propio, lo que facilita mucho el acceso con coche. El personal de recepción súper atento, con la suerte de que al menos un par de las chicas que nos atendieron lo hicieron en un perfecto castellano. Te facilitan una lista de posibles restaurantes a visitar que es súper útil, especialmente para los domingos y lunes que está prácticamente todo en la ciudad cerado. Sin duda es un lugar al que volvería y que recomiendo. Sólo como sugerencia, en nuestra habitación teníamos hervidor y cafetera, pero eché en falta una pequeña neverita.

In good, central & quiet location, this hotel has character, well restored & very comfortable. Large light comfortable room with good bathroom facilities. Secure wifi & very good breakfast provided. Staff friendly & good restaurant recommendations. Car parking facilities on site. Only a ten minute walk to the funicular that takes you to & from the train station.

What a charming hotel! The staff was so nice and helpful. My name on my parking spot was such a thoughtful touch. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. The lounge was a great place for our family and friends to meet, have wine and treats. A very memorable experience.

Et hotel med patina og historie. Værten gav et godt bud på, hvor jeg kunne spise aftensmad i byen. Klaveret i den smagfulde bar med bløde sofaer og stole gav anledning til en lille aftenkoncert fra mig inden sengetid.
Opvågning efter en god og lang søvn var med udsigt fra balkonen til sneen i Pyrenæerne i fuld sol efter en dag forinden med en del regn.

Pour la deuxième fois, nous sommes retournés au Bristol, un lieu chic, à l'ancienne où l'amabilité est la conduite permanente, et ce sans ostentation, le petit déjeuner, copieux et fin, formidable, je recommande vivement !

Idéalement situé au centre-ville, il permet un accès facile aux principales attractions de la ville. Les chambres, spacieuses et décorées avec goût, offrent un confort optimal pour un séjour des plus agréables. Le personnel, notamment Marine, se distingue par son accueil chaleureux et son dévouement, rendant chaque visite mémorable. Le petit-déjeuner, composé de produits frais et variés, est un véritable délice pour bien commencer la journée. En somme, l’Hôtel Brustol combine emplacement idéal, confort et service attentionné, faisant de chaque séjour une expérience exceptionnelle.

Charmant hôtel particulier, élégant, à la décoration raffinée, rien ne manque tout est là.
Accueil très chaleureux, personnel à l’écoute et dévoué.
Jolie chambre, cosy, literie et linge de lit parfaits, salle de bain très complète.

Parfait, rien à dire. Mon adresse de référence lors de mes déplacements dans le sud ouest. Calme, propre et une déco unique. Un endroit hors du temps et une équipe hôtelière très attentionnée.

L' Hôtel est joliment décoré, l'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir le centre ville, le petit-déjeuner est excellent !!!
Mais avant tout, l'accueil du personnel est exceptionnel.
Je ne sais pas si je peux citer un prénom mais elle se reconnaitra.
Cette personne s'est souvenu de notre conversation datant de 15 jours auparavant, m'a conseillé des restaurants pour dîner le soir et m'a finement orienté vers des lieux de visite.
J'ai beaucoup apprécié son empathie, ses conseils et sa bienveillance.
Hâte d'y retourner.

Hôtel Bristol is a wonderfully charming hotel right in the city center of Pau (Pro Tip: During the warmer months, enjoy a glass or two of local wine on the terrace while the sun sets!) I have been staying at this hotel since 2018 for business (annual team summit). After the pandemic, the hotel changed ownership and the experience has only improved with the new owners. Lucas and his team are just delightful and made my colleagues and I feel totally welcome. During our last visit, two of our team members ran into some health issues (one became ill and the other injured her ankle) and Lucas and his staff went above and beyond to care for them. He arranged for a doctor to come check on both of them and his team even went out and purchased crutches for our team member with the injured ankle. Lucas also delivered both of them breakfast each morning and checked on them throughout the day. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. This will always be my go-to hotel when staying in Pau.
