Lovely store and the gentlemen were so helpful in letting us know about the different products and they vacuum seal for travel so now we have French butter for months!

Stumbled upon this total gem of a shop on a recent trip to Paris. What a place, really friendly and helpful people in the shop, amazing range of fantastic produce. This should be on your bucket list for any visit to Paris.

I discovered this shop near the hotel where I was spending my vacation. The day before Christmas, I entered the shop and asked one of the staff to recommend some cheeses to go with champagne for my impromptu table. The young man was very polite and patiently tolerated my French, for which I am grateful. He suggested 5 amazing cheeses, and I also picked up some wonderful black truffle butter, a bit of foie gras, and a jar of onion confit. I was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary gift of olives.

After that, I visited the shop a couple more times during the rest of my stay, and I will definitely recommend it to all my friends if fate brings them to Paris.

I did not get the young man’s name, but he was very helpful with making recommendations and guiding us towards some new cheeses for us to try during our visit. When the mother in law asked for “Swiss” cheese (“with holes”), I had to laugh at his cheeky corrections! Great experience.
