I was not expecting much with such a touristic area and Le Monte Carlo proved the same as most others. The food was ok but overpriced and lazy. The drink menu was lacking in wine but loaded with good cocktail choices. Our server was pleasant but very slow and confirmed we were American before pressuring us to add a tip in addition to the bill that included tip. We had not had that happen in France until this restaurant (maybe due to avoiding tourist hubs) and it was disheartening to experience after such a wonderful trip to that point.

The food is edible and drinks decent, but you’re likely to find better within a short walk.

As you'd expect, this area is very busy, but Le Monte Carlo offers a tranquil space with good food and service. The lunch menu offers lots of choices. Only critique is that it does feel like the tables are squeezed a bit close together, but I'd come here again

If you’re looking for an authentic Paris cafe near the Champs Elysee, you will find it here! My husband and I wanted an early dinner and then planned to walk up and down the Champs Elysee. We just happened upon Le Monte Carlo, just a block away behind the Galeries Lafayette. The food is delicious! I got the ravioli with ham, pesto and zucchini. It was delicious. My husband needed a break from French food and just got a burger. Then we split the crepes Suzette and it was delicious! The waitress was helpful to us and other tables make good choices. Highly recommend this place and if we return to Paris, we’ll go there again!

Muy buena experiència y muy bueno todo. Pero voy hacer una crítica constructiva, ya sé que es París y la lengua oficial és el francés y no espero que hablen mi idioma, pero algo de inglés los camareros... lo digo más que nada por el restaurante si quiere atraer turismo internacional.

Pero lo dicho, una buena experiència y todo muy bueno y el personal muy amable.

Pongo una estrella porque no se puede poner un CERO.
La comida fue lamentable, malísima.
La peor pasta que me he comido en la vida.
El servicio fue desastroso, teníamos que ir pidiendo los vasos, las platos.. se olvidaron de lo que habíamos pedido.. FATAL.
Cero recomendable.

Lovely little cafe with beautiful decor and a couple of options for a vegan diet. I had the VG Bowl which was delicious. Would come again when back in Paris.

Le café Monte Carlo dispose d'une salle très sympathique au sous-sol, bien éclairée, bien décorée, spacieuse et calme. Excellente pour une soirée privatisée posée à 20 personnes !

Mes coups de cœur :
- le service : très arrangeant et très efficace,
- la diversité des plats pour les convives : il y en a pour tous les goûts et ils se sont même occupés du dessert !
- les tarifs : franchement attractifs par rapport à la moyenne du coin (y compris les boissons et les plats !).

Je recommande vivement ce lieu pour une privatisation ! ✨
