Great view of the city too if you can get the second floor. Had a wonderful experience thanks to the staff and nice owner.
And try this place and very glad we did. Rustic environment and succulent dishes. Burrata & foie gras to start and beef and duck for mains. Everything came out super fast, hot and with a smile. Highly recommend
Ordered onion soup, which has barely onions in it as it was too watery. Salade gascon, not so fresh salads leaves. Beef bourgignon was so chewy, not cooked long enough served with soggy fries. Owner deserves negative stars on hospitality when we asked to speak with him about card payment as we didnt bring cash with us.

In my opinion, the bourguignon was the significantly better of the two.
The beef was super tender, and very easy to cut apart. You practically didn't need a fork and knife - it was that easy to cut through.
This carried over when biting through, as there just was a very nice and easy satisfying feeling to each bite that I really enjoyed
The wine sauce was an incredible complement to this dish. It was super rich and flavorful, and the amount of sauce acted like a fantastic
coating for the beef, soaking into the meet and combining the two flavors together. the sauce also acted as a great dipping liquid for the fried potatoes
The fried potatoes were not so good, however
On the contrary, the duck confit was something I liked less. It was on the drier side, and pretty far from being juicy. the skin wasn't really crispy either,
and mostly felt hard on the outside rather than a crisp texture. it wasn't inedible or anything, but was less enjoyable to get through than the beef dish
Since these were shared, the price per person ended around 23 euros, which isn't too bad
Overall, the bourguignon would have gotten a 9/10, and the duck confit a 7/10, so I'll average them to an 8/10
J'ai pris à emporter pendant le match, de la bienveillance et de la gentillesse.
J'ai pris une salade Montmartre, salade tomate avocat mozzarelle (burrata ) jambons avec les des pommes de terre sautées à l'ail. Ces dernières sont à part, donc tu peux manger quand tu veux.
Je mets 4 pour la cuisine, les pommes de terre manque d'ail selon moi, mais chacun ses goûts, je suis 'ailiophibe'.
Je recommande vivement.
Trop expéditif à mon goût...entrée servie pendant l'apéro (apéro reçu deux minutes avant l'entrée) et enchaîné très rapidement sur le plat.
