Εξαιρετικό όπως πάντα!
The food was particularly expensive and the taste was very simple, like the sushi we order via delivery platforms to our house. The wines were also very expensive, with the cheapest ones starting at 90-100 euros a bottle. Cocktails also very expensive, costing 30-40 euros for the simple options.
The restaurant consists of 2 areas: a very nice ground floor area with a large impressive bar in the middle and a mezzanine which is different, without decoration and is just 4 empty walls with windows to enjoy the unique view.
We will definitely not visit the restaurant in the future, as the value for money is one of the worst in Athens.
Βρήκαμε κόκκαλο ψαριού στο ορεκτικό, και ενώ το ανάφερα με πολύ ευγένεια, το εστιατόριο δεν μπήκε καν στον κόπο να ζήτηση συγγνώμη, πόσο μάλλον να μας αποζειμειωση οικονομικά στο ελάχιστο. Η μουσική άσχετη με το περιβάλλον και το είδος της κουζίνας και το κτηριακό τουλάχιστον εξωτερικά, χρειάζεται μέγιστη ανακαίνιση.
Κρίμα!!!
Το τραπέζι μας ήταν στον πάνω χώρο, που δεν θα έλεγε κανείς ότι είναι κάποια προσεγμένη σάλα- αντάξια του brand του εστιατορίου- αλλά ούτε αυτό ήταν το μεγαλύτερο πρόβλημα.
Στον χώρο αυτό υπήρχαν περίπου 15 τραπέζια, όλα σχεδόν γεμάτα και μία γλυκύτατη, αλλά μόνη σερβιτόρα έπρεπε να εξυπηρετήσει τους πάντες. Το πρώτο 20λεπτο μας είχαν σερβίρει μόνο νερό και δεν είχε έρθει καν κατάλογος για ποτά.
Αφού ζητήσαμε κατάλογο και παραγγείλαμε, πέρασε ακόμα μισή ώρα, χωρίς να μας έχουν σερβίρει καν τα ποτά. Στα 50 λεπτά που μείναμε στο εστιατόριο, είχαν σερβιριστεί στον πάνω χώρο 4 πιάτα. Να σημειώσω πως στο πλαίσιο του Dine Athens το μενού είναι συγκεκριμένο και περιορισμένο, οπότε θεωρητικά η κουζίνα εστιατορίου τέτοιου επιπέδου θα έπρεπε να δουλεύει ρολόι.
Μετά από σχεδόν μία ώρα, κανείς δεν είχε έρθει όχι να σερβίρει, ούτε καν να ενημερώσει για την καθυστέρηση.
Η σερβιτόρα δεν μπορούσε να μας πει σε πόση ώρα θα έρθει έστω το πρώτο στάδιο και αποφασίσαμε να φύγουμε.
Δεν ξέρω τι μπορεί να πήγε τόσο στραβά εκείνο το βράδυ, ξέρω σίγουρα πως η δική μου εμπειρία ήταν κάκιστη.
Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό ενώ ο χώρος φιλόξενος και περιποιημένος.
Σχετικά με τα πιάτα προτείνω τον σολομό.
The service was excellent professional.
The black cod was as always splendid, same as the Kobe fillet. The salad was fresh with a light dressing. The spicy tuna maki nothing spectacular. The Alaska crab with the mayo had way more sauce than it should have. The dumplings were excellent. The chocolate box and the Japanese ice cream were the best way to conclude the dinner.
The Greek red wine by glass was a pleasant surprise.
Of course the bill was as expected 550€ for three people.
We then ordered aperitifs and starters. The drinks arrived after the starters!
And the climax came with the main courses. One of the guests received her course 15 minutes before the others. I might as well tell you that the €550 charged at the end stuck in our craw.
I would have tried it, but I'm not going back!
First of all, 2 of us were seated on a big round table that seems to be for 4 people, but would perfectly fit 5 or even 6. The table was close to the entrance and in the middle between the kitchen and wine area. There were constantly people passing by and we both felt very uncosy, watched and unable to relax as well as speak properly.
Second, the food. We ordered one sushi set (California?) and it was just tasteless. Main was fish of the day (2 small pieces) and grilled vegetables, both good but nothing at all mind blowing. After trying this food and seeing the price tag we decided not to go for anything else as it was just a complete waste of money for this quality of food. We paid 183 euro for 2 non alcoholic cocktails, water, sushi roll and fish with vegetables (both dishes to share). Soo not worth it; although now reading reviews i see we were lucky to pay "this little". Service was on the one hand very friendly, on the other even sometimes annoying, as there was just too much personnel for the quantity of the guests (who would think that can ever be a problem!). We just recently returned from Japan, so had a good comparison of food; we also live in Switzerland and expensive restaurants do not shock us. We left very disappointed as it was literally just a waste of money and of our evening. There are so many amazing restaurants nearby, i would not recommend spending your time here.
Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό ενώ ο χώρος φιλόξενος και περιποιημένος.
Σχετικά με τα πιάτα μπορώ να πω πως απογοητεύτηκα.
Πήραμε τη σαλάτα Matsuhisa sashimi salad στην οποία όταν έτρωγες γευόσουν τη γεύση του αίματος, δεν ήταν καθόλου καλό.
Συμπαθητικές γεύσεις είχαν το καρπάτσιο σολομού και οι γαρίδες με το wasabi pepper sauce.
Το πιο ωραίο πιάτο ήταν το καβούρι με το creamy spicy, εξαιρετική γεύση.
Τέλος πήραμε ένα αστακό, μίσο τηγανισμένο, μισό ψημένο.
Ο τηγανισμένος είχε πολύ έντονα τη γεύση του λαδιού και γενικότερα ήταν πάρα πολύ βαρύ ενώ ο ψητός ήταν καλύτερος.
Σε κάθε περίπτωση θεωρώ ότι οι τιμές με την ποιότητα είναι τρομερά δυσανάλογα.
Δεν θα το πρότεινα διότι στην Αθήνα υπάρχουν πολύ καλύτερες επιλογές σε εστιατόρια της ίδιας κουζίνας.

White fish ceviche is chewy and soooo thin
Salmon tacos with its disgusting fishiness and who mixes raw salmon with tomato
Rice crispies fried with salmon ( hilarious dish) with no flavors
The maki rolls, seriously!!!! Tasteless and so small
Not to forget the hilarious pricing strategy
We ordered the 3 dishes mentioned above and 6 peices of maki ( 3 glasses of wine and 2 gin where all the drinks are house and regular beverage) and the bill was 320 euros and they add the 23% at the end without mentioning it in the menu
What a rip off
Plz don't say its by NOBU, it has nothing to.do.with it
