We dropped in while passing by and had the most wonderful experience. We tasted wines with Jean Francois who was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly loved wine. The wine was exceptional and we bought several bottles, wishing we could have managed more. This experience made our day!

We visited this winery after calling in advance to confirm if we could come by around 6 PM, even though it was close to closing time. We were looking forward to a quick tasting based on a recommendation. The wines were truly exceptional, but unfortunately, the service left us with a sour experience.

One older man, seemed to be in a rush and more focused on other customers, making dismissive remarks about us “just wanting to buy one bottle and hesitating.” Regardless of how many bottles we intended to buy, the service should have been courteous. We could have purchased an entire case, but his attitude made us feel very unwelcome.

He wrote down the name of a bottle we were sure about and rushed us through the payment process while my partner was unsure about couple of wine that he would have bought in larger quantities but without even answering a simple question and saying he doesn’t know about his preference for another wine. All the while, he continued making remarks about us to other customers who appeared to be buying larger quantities, perhaps for a restaurant.

This level of rudeness completely overshadowed what should have been a pleasant visit. While the wines are good, the poor customer service left a lasting negative impression. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on the experience we had.

Horrible accueil et remarques déplacées et irrespectueuses ("vous venez pour acheter ?" sans même un "bonjour", "toutes ces questions pour ne prendre que deux bouteilles ?", puis "j'ai du travail, je suis fatigué, j'ai d'autres choses à faire")... Malheureusement jamais reçu un accueil aussi déplorable, dans aucun domaine ni de cette région ni d'ailleurs, je n'en reviens pas, alors que nous avons fait montre de politesse et d'intérêt pour leurs vins, un COMBLE. Le monsieur âgé nous a littéralement jeté la fiche à la figure. Les vins sont bons, mais c'est regrettable d'être reçus de la sorte. On voulait prendre plusieurs bouteilles, on n'en prend finalement qu'une, à y songer on n'aurait rien dû prendre du tout.

Le pinot noir rocailles est exceptionnel. L’un des meilleurs d’Alsace! L’accueil était aussi très très chaleureux, merci encore!

Ich hatte mich im Vorfeld etwas informiert, weil in Eguisheim hat man die Qual der Wahl. Ich wollte auf jeden Fall Riesling mitnehmen und hatte mit im Vorfeld auch schon einen bestimmten Wein ausgesucht, der meinem Geschmack und Portemonnaie entsprach. Die Truppe war gerade noch in der Mittegspause, bevor es wieder in die Reben ging. Nach ein paar Minuten wurde mir der Wein zur Verkostung angeboten und überzeugte mich total. Entsprechend schnell ging es dann auch mit dem Kauf. Der Senior kam dann noch auf mich zu und hat mit mir noch ein paar freundliche Worte gewechselt. Das ganze Gut war sehr sauber und ich bin mit dem Wein sehr zufrieden.

The wines are amazing for sure, but we were unable to access the shop to purchase wine during our visit to Eguisheim on August 29. The sign and website said they would reopen at 14:00. We arrived a little after that and nobody was there. Came back about 30 mins later and also still closed. Although we were unable to purchase wine to take home, we had two bottles of Paul Ginglinger Riesling that night at dinner in Kaysersberg - one Eichberg and one Pfersigberg both from 2020 - and they were wonderful and distinctly different from each other. So 5 stars for the wine, 3 stars for the shop not being open at the posted times. Maybe we’ll have better luck next time.

We did not have an appointment but were able to turn up and still have a tasting. The wines were delicious and everyone was patient with me while I tried to speak French with them. Lovely wines, hope to return!

Vandaag een proeverij gedaan in hartje Eguisheim. Er werd de tijd genomen om rustig alles uit te leggen over de verschillende druiven en productie. Heerlijke wijnen, en leuk de verschillen te proeven. Verder was het een hele aangename verrassing dat de gastvrouw Floriette alles duidelijk in het Nederlands uit kon uitleggen omdat ze een tijdje in Nederland heeft gewoond. Dat maakte het extra bijzonder. Volgende keer nemen we Beemsterkaas (!) voor haar mee. Die liefde heeft ze nog aan Nederland overgehouden.

Des vins bio à découvrir. Des prix abordables malgré l'excellente qualité due à un savoir-faire transmis depuis plusieurs générations. Accueil très sympathique et bienveillant par Paul Ginglinger qui aime ses vins et sait les faire aimer. À découvrir absolument et à faire découvrir.

Eigentlich wollten wir nur eine Flasche Wein für den Abend mitnehmen, haben aber dank der Beratung der freundlichen jungen Dame einen Karton Pinot Gris und einen Muskat mitgenommen. Die spontane Weinprobe war ein gelungener Abschluss für den Wandertag.
