Ruhiges Hotel in der Wohngegend Lingotto, in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Porta Nuova.
Das Lancaster liegt im Wohn- und Geschäftsviertel Lingotto, 800 m vom Bahnhof Porta Nuova entfernt, und ist ein ruhiges Hotel. Es wurde regelmäßig renoviert und die Zimmer sind komfortabel, wenn auch etwas nüchtern. Die etwas design-barocke Dekoration der anderen Zimmer und der Lobby machen das Hotel trotz allem sehr sympathisch. Bei Veranstaltungen im Voraus buchen, da es sehr schnell ausgebucht ist.

Noi abbiamo alloggiato a Pasqua e la camera al primo piano era pessima. Di pulito c’era ben poco oltre le lenzuola e le federe dei cuscini che sapevano di odore acre paragonabile a chiuso / sudore o poco igienizzato (nn saprei dirvi). Le tende erano palesemente del 90, scolorite e non lavate dal 2000 forse.
La hall penso essere l’unico posto dell’hotel degno di un 4 stelle. La prima mattina che siamo andati a fare colazione (h 9:20 e la stessa finiva di essere servita alle 10) non c’erano posti a sedere per tutti. Un hotel da 10 piani ed una sala per colazioni da circa 35/40 mq scarsi. Parliamo sempre di un 4 stelle. La cosa bruttissima era la cameriera la quale era addetta al buffet che con il collega diceva:” mai vista una cosa del genere”…. Forse riferito al fatto che avevano riempito il buffet diverse volte… era Pasqua e l’hotel era pieno…mi domando cosa si aspettasse. Nulla da obiettare se fosse stato un due stelle o meno ma di 4 stelle c’è lontanamente l’ombra. Gli stessi soldi per due notti sicuramente si spendono in posti migliori. NON CONSIGLIATO poiché verso Torino porta nuova c’erano hotel migliori a prezzi simili
How is it possible that a 4 star hotel, will face a problem for a long time and can't provide hot water at the beginning of the day when most of the people here were for business.
Room was in smallest possible way and used a classic big key rather than a small card.
Location was almost close to city center, and Staff were very nice and supportive.
Breakfast was also not comparable to other 4star hotels in Italy or Europe.
Zona abbastanza centrale, ma tranquilla di notte. A 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Porta Nuova e perciò comodo da raggiungere. Con una passeggiata sei in centro e nelle vicinanze è pieno di ristoranti, pizzerie, pub, a 5 minuti a piedi dall'ospedale Mauriziano.
