Tolles Frühstücksbuffet .
Das beste an dem Zimmer war das bequeme Bett und die fluffige Bettdecke , einfach nur gemütlich.
Würde jederzeit wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten .
They had speaker in the rooms which worked seamlessly and all amenities you might need (except for slippers and gowns).
The service was great as well. We were exchausted from our night bus and just wanted to leave our luggage at the hotel but the friendly staff told us that we could already check-in (it was 10am).
The check-in and check-out were all in a "do-it-yourself" and modern style.
The location was also very great (subway 3min walk away).
The only complaint my girlfriend had, was that the light in the bathroom was not bright enough which made putting on make-up harder.
All in all though, a very good hotel which I could definitely recommend!
This hotel is around a 10 to 15 minute taxi from the centre with taxis and Ubers in good supply. Pending the time of the day and week, a one way trip in an Uber was circa €13 or so each way.
We chose this hotel for its location sort of half way between the centre of the city and the Ziggo Done arena as we were primarily visiting Amsterdam for a gig to see Nothing But Thieves. Location wise this worked or us for the purpose of our visit however, if we just wanted to do the city centre, we would probably choose to stay more central to cut out the constant taxis and costs back and forth.
All in all a positive experience at The Ruby Emma with great staff to hand at all times.
Schiphol airport is only circa 15 to 20 minutes away in a taxi and typically around €28 each way.
---Refund issue is still unsolved and cannot get ahold of anyone in the hotel. Save your money and don't book this hotel through Expedia guys!!

Back and stay again at this hotel.
The room was also fantastic boasting a lot of fancy gadgets such as closing the blinds using an iPad and a hot tap in the hallways.
The reason for 4* is due to the price of breakfast. My partner and I ate out for breakfast due to it being priced at €22 each per night!! Although it looked great and tasty that would be nearly €50 for a couple just for breakfast.
Overall I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough though and will be recommending to friends and family. Just advising them to consider eating out for breakfast.
The room itself is sleek and clean. You can control everything over an iPad including blackout blinds, lighting and the TV. The attention to detail in the design and cleanliness of the room was truly impressive.
One of the highlights of our stay was the bar area where we met Sarah. She provided exceptional service with prompt attention to all our needs. She gave us great recommendations and was a joy to talk to. They offer some small bites that really hit the spot, especially when you are too tired to go out. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The ambiance of the bar area is perfect, with various seating options inspired by midcentury design.
The location of the hotel couldn't be better. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the metro station and within 10 minutes you are in the heart of Amsterdam making Ruby Emma the perfect home base.
The team at Ruby Emma truly goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any request.
Overall, I can't recommend Ruby Emma highly enough. It exceeded all of our expectations, and we look forward to returning. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay truly memorable!

Me and my partner stayed here for Christmas and New Year just gone and it was a shambles from start to finish. Staff are not helpful except for the blonde Lady manger, we had a few problems she sorted it. all the other staff had bad attitudes and they are really unhelpful.
Also the rooms have marshals speakers not one but two, at 2am someone staying in the next room starts paying music when I was drifting off i had to get night staff to sort it. The taller asian man was really helpful didn't get his name, he couldn't be any more helpful and he was super apologetic about it. You can't get a cocktail unless the tall blonde lady is working. If you go outside to smoke, there is spit everywhere it's disgusting.
Also, the facades on the outside of the windows are loud and annoying.
I come amsterdam often I would never stay here again. The local shop behind said hotel, the shop owner is rude and condescending not friendly at all, he accused my partner of stealing a drink we bought in town he scanend it and nothing came up as it wasnt from his shop so flipping agggresive and angry for no reason.
Would I stay at Ruby Emma again:

Was it worth it: No not for all the hassle. The room itself is nice, a little dusty. The shower is also nice. The view isn't to great either.
The hotel looks the part but that's about it, hotel itself is slightly a shambles. Maybe it was the time of year I went.
Would highlight Ilinca and Gabriela for being super helpful with information and room maintenance.Thaaaanks!
Pour le reste d’autres hôtels vous contenteront bien plus.
Déception
Tout y est neuf et bien entretenu, les chambres magnifiques (mention spéciale pour la douche et la base Marshall).
Le bar aussi est sympa, bons cocktails.
Une étoile de moins car nous avons eu des soucis sur le Check in seul, une porte de chambre ne se fermant pas toujours et une alerte incendie pour rien…
Malgré tout, cela reste une bonne place et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 5 giorni in questo fantastico hotel, posso solo dire che la vista è una meraviglia, il profumo che si sente già dall’ingresso ti fa sentire in un luogo davvero pulito e ordinato.
Non posso fare altro che mettere 5 stelle su tutto!
