The staff have no clue what they are doing.

When I ordered Italian started nobody brought oil salt and pepper .

When I ordered steak medium well - they bring it medium rare. Than they cook it again, brought me the food and no cutlery .

Half of the steak was still medium rare.
When I sent it back again I could hear one of them shouting : just tell them “well done “…

Slow service . Waiters are just lazy on their phones and only doing work when owner is watching .

Instead to enjoy my food after a long day - I was just getting angry by the time I had to send it back again …

Please don’t waste your time and money - local small road side meat or fish shops for half the price know exactly how to cook - what to do and do it fast.

Not up to the expectations. Rundown, slow service, food not up to standards and expensive for what it is.

Honestly, the service was beyond atrocious—it was an outright disaster! When the bread arrived with our starter, it was immediately clear that this place has no concept of SERVICE.

After we finished our starter, we sat for an excruciating 15 minutes with dirty plates glaring at us from the table. It was as if the staff had vanished into thin air. The main course was no different. By then, our patience had run out. We got up, paid, and left in utter disgust because clearly, expecting any semblance of decent service from this establishment would be an optimism bordering on foolishness."

Was it because we’re Mauritians and they assumed we wouldn’t tip? Ironically, out of respect we always leave a minimum of Rs500 when the service is even remotely acceptable. But here!

This place is a complete disgrace. Do yourself a favor and steer clear—spare yourself the agony and disappointment!

5/24 stasera siamo stati qua. Il locale è adiacente la strada ma l'atmosfera che si sviluppa all'interno ti fa dimenticare il passaggio delle auto. Una musica soffusa accompagna la serata che in breve si trasforma in romantica. Senza prenotazione chiediamo un tavolino per due e ci danno la possibilità di scegliere tra varie sistemazioni. Ci sediamo e facciamo subito conoscenza con Giulia che ci spiega un po' la sua storia. Il menù ha poche pagine ma è alto un paio di centimetri. Le pietanze sono molto variegate ma noi siamo lì per mangiare la specialità della casa. Prendiamo delle polpette di pesce un po' piccanti come antipasto e un primo a testa. L'antipasto è strepitoso servito su un piatto di ardesia, c'è lo dividiamo e finisce in 3 bocconi. Come primo prendo i cannelloni ripieni di pesce e granchio affogati in una crema (forse panna) dal sapore squisito ma delicato, anche loro serviti su un piatto in pietra. Per la mia compagna invece spaghetti con vongole e cozze. Il cameriere si è preoccupato di chiederci se li volessimo al dente e la nostra risposta è stata assolutamente si. Al termine eravamo già appagati ma avevo ancora un piccolo spazio e ho chiesto i dolci. Vado matto per il torroncino che fortunatamente facevano loro e così l'ho chiesto affogato con un po' di caffè. Buonissimo anche questo con quel retrogusto di scorza di limone che ha dato il senso del fatto in casa. Il locale ha parecchi coperti da due, da quattro e anche tavolate. È discreto e romantico allo stesso tempo e la qualità del cibo si sposa pienamente col prezzo pagato. Consiglio

We had one of the best meals in Mauritius here. I suppose it's also to do with the owner that's hands on and have a passion for what they do. The food was really good and also the friendly service. If you are in this part of Mauritius make sure to make a booking and then go and enjoy.

It’s real piece of Italy at Mauritius. Pasta and fritto misto are marvellous! Service is fine. One of the best places on the island. Strongly recommended for visiting!

Les assiettes sont copieuses, la cuisine est excellente, le service est parfait, l'emplacement juste en face de la plage est super! Mention particulière aux serveurs qui même en dehors du restaurant, se souvenaient de nous, venaient nous saluer et parler avec nous! Très belle découverte!
