Man erkennt es an seiner Fassade, die durch ein Wandgemälde zu Ehren eines Ehepaars aus Chamoniard aufgelockert wird, und seinen blauen Fensterläden. Der Ortsname "lanchers" bezeichnet einen steilen Bergkorridor. Nichts dergleichen findet man jedoch in dem kleinen Weiler Les Praz, fünf Minuten zu Fuß von Chamonix entfernt, wenn man entlang der Arve spaziert, wo man die Berge und die Geselligkeit wiederentdeckt, indem man die Freuden des Skifahrens und Wanderns genießt. Die Seilbahn von La Flégère ist 450 m entfernt. Dieses charmante Familienunternehmen wird von einem sympathischen englisch-französischen Paar geführt, das von einem dynamischen Team unterstützt wird. Im Inneren des Hotels genießt man komfortable und gepflegte Zimmer, die 2014 renoviert wurden und von denen einige 2011 in der angrenzenden Erweiterung entstanden sind. Wenn es möglich ist, wird man eines mit einem Balkon buchen, der direkt auf den Mont Blanc blickt. Man wird auch von der Lounge-Bar profitieren, aber auch vom "Après-Ski-Imbiss" - süß und mit warmen Getränken -, von der Entspannung in der Sauna und natürlich vom Restaurant Rendez-vous, das eine traditionelle französische Küche anbietet... Eine gute Adresse, die zugleich einfach und herzlich ist, nur wenige Schritte vom Golfplatz Chamonix entfernt.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Bar Les Lanchers a iChamonix-Mont-Blanc, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was impeccable, setting the tone for a memorable stay.

Nestled in the heart of Chamonix, the location is unbeatable. With breathtaking views of Mont Blanc from our room, we were within walking distance of charming boutiques, cafes, and the Aiguille du Midi cable car. It was the perfect base for exploring both the town and the surrounding mountains.

Das Hotel liegt neben einer übertags relativ viel befahrenen Strasse, das stört allerdings nicht wenn man hier ist um Ausflüge zu machen. Bushaltestelle ist direkt neben dem Hotel und das Zentrum von Chamonix ist auch zu Fuss gut erreichbar.
