I first "stumbled upon" the Paul Autard "Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Côte Ronde 2013" a few years ago, and it left such a lasting impression that I felt compelled to visit the winery in person.

The experience exceeded all expectations. We arrived by bicycle during their regular hours and were warmly welcomed. Marc took the time to explain not just the technical details but the deeper philosophy behind their winemaking. He guided us through the unique challenges of producing Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône wines, offering interesting insights into their craft.

We had the privilege of tasting a variety of their wines, each reflecting exceptional richness and complexity. Whether you're drawn to full-bodied, structured reds or more nuanced selections, there's something here for a broad range of palates and price points. The wines truly stand out for their depth and balance, embodying the best of the region.

In addition to the superb wines, the customer service was excellent. Pauline was incredibly helpful in arranging orders after our visit, as we could only take a few bottles with us at the time. If you’re a fan of Rhône wines, Paul Autard is a must-visit. And if you can’t make it in person, I highly recommend getting your hands on some of their wines - you won’t be disappointed!

Thank you Pauline for hosting us! A special place with magnificent wines and interesting origin. As they are a smaller producer with limited distribution, you can’t find their wine that easily so be sure to take home a bottle or two :)

Pas besoin d'aller à Chateauneuf du Pape pour déguster et acheter du vin en direct, ceux de ce domaine (juste à côté et de la même appellation) sont excellents et les propriétaires accueillants. Nous y retournerons
