HÔTEL DE FRANCE

Un grand merci à l’hôtel de France pour nous avoir si bien accueilli. Les chambres sont agréables et propres, la personne à l’accueil est d’une très grande gentillesse, le petit déjeuner est délicieux et composé essentiellement de produits locaux.|Je recommande fortement.

Though the hotel advertises food inside and on their emails, they haven’t done any food in a long time. They recommend going to the square to eat but the time we went there was only one place open which was fully booked which meant we couldn’t have dinner the first night we stayed there. The rooms are basic and extremely hot without the windows open. The Wi-Fi doesn’t actually reach the top rooms which isn’t ideal. The hotel advertised their own parking and charging but they do not have any but there is free parking nearby. The toilets have no ventilation making it extremely hot in them. One good thing about the hotel was that the staff were friendly.

For the price, it’s not terrible but you’re better off looking for a campanile instead.
Service is very friendly which is fair enough but the hotel in general is bad.
Apparently no restaurant when we got an email with a menu, and was told there was a restaurant just a street down, however everywhere but one place was closed, however you’ll have to book ahead. Also no free hotel parking as advertised other than a nearby public car park, same for EV charging.
We had no wifi other than sitting in the lounge area since it didn’t reach our room.
Hallways are dated, fire doors not fully closed and carpets worn/faded.
Rooms are incredibly hot without the windows open and even the fan they provide isn’t enough to circulate the room.
No working ventilation in the toilet making it very hot. Next to no charging ports other than 2 hidden behind the bed which you’ll have to move forward.
Would recommend if you’re doing just one cheap night stop, but would avoid in summer time.

Nous n'avons passé qu'une seule nuit dans cet hôtel, mais sous toit avec une chaleur assez difficile à supporter. De plus, nous devions payer par chèques vacances comme convenu avec le réceptionniste, mais le lendemain celui-ci avait activé notre CB utilisé pour la reservation pour se payer. Nous pensons que nos chèques ne l'interressaient pas. Nous sommes déçu Nous ne renouvelerons pas cette expérience.
