Geen goed hotel. Gedateerd. Uitbater spreekt geen Engels. Bijzonder anno 2025. Povere badkamer. Geen airco. Wel nodig in de zomer. Restaurant tegenover hotel nogal luidruchtig. Dus ramen moeten dicht. Ligt wel fijn in het centrum. Gratis parkeren. Maar er zijn qua prijs/prestatie betere hotels in Albert.

We needed a room at short notice late at night. They gave us a code and access to a room.
Whilst the room wasn't modern, it had had what
it needed.
The breakfast was simple but magnificent! I needed coffee and French bread! Not to mention the fruit and yoghurt!
The service was great!
The price was very reasonable.

Hotel vétuste, plusieurs matelas pour 1 lit ???? manquait plus que le petit pois...????, en plus matelas a ressort pas en bon état, on me dit qu'elle fait 22m², oui sans compter les 2 lits, pourquoi 2?! Et les 3 meubles qui servent pas à grand chose ????????????, personnel bizarre et sans masques! ???? bref je déconseille cet hotel, cher pour ce que c'est

Cracking little hotel in Albert. Great location for exploring the WW1 battlefields. The staff were incredibly helpful, even posting something to me know England which I'd left behind. Very reasonable prices and nice breakfast. Thank you, Hotel de la Paix!

Hôtel à éviter. Personnel peux accueillant, chambre vétuste, salle de bain en piteux état. Sani broyeur, odeur d’égout dans la sdb, finition sdb déplorable.
N’y allez surtout pas en hiver, il fait plus chaud dehors que dans certaines chambres et surtout dans le restaurant, dont les produits sont sortit directement d’un supermarché bas de gamme. N’essayez pas de tartiner du beurre ou du chocolat, il sera littéralement gelé.

De plus il n’y a aucune isolation phonique, vous pouvez entendre un autre client de l’hôtel ronfler depuis l’autre bout.

Nettes Hotel mit einem freundlichen Wirt. Leider konnte er kein Englisch, aber wir konnten uns auch so verständigen.

Die Lage ist perfekt, die Innenstadt ist direkt um die Ecke und vor Ort gibt es Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus.

Das Museum ist 2min zu Fuß entfernt.

Hôtel vétuste. Les cloisons sont des feuilles de papier à cigarette, du coup on entend tout, et en particulier les sanibroyeurs la nuit. Entourage de la baignoire moisi. On a bien essayé d installer quelques équipements modernes (télévision par exemple), mais c est mettre un moteur de Ferrari sur une 2CV. Petit déjeuner de type « Aldi », tout vient directement du super marché et est présente dans son emballage plastique. Il est urgent que la commission qui attribue les étoiles repasse constater ces éléments…ou que des travaux soient entrepris.

The owner who I am told is suffering from an illness is not too friendly, he in my opinion does not want to speak English & I know we are in France so should speak French but he has stuck signs up in English saying that he & the cleaners do not speak English, even if you try to speak a little French most will try to help you but this is not the case with this hotel. The breakfast is a self serve strange option, the coffee machine has no English instructions. They no longer do evening meals, our room on the second floor had no electric in the bedroom. When we made him aware of this he was not too helpful but we did get there in the end, but it was not an experience I would want to go through again. I need to go back to Albert but will stay at the Ibis out of town & get a taxi in as others did that we met

Arrêtez les rageux tout est parfait du ménage quotidien à la chaleur humaine de Jean-Luc le proprio et de Laure l'employée tous les 2 très serviables. Ne parlons pas du petit déjeuner tellement grandiose que de choix et à volonté vous pouvez même ramener des choses à mettre dans votre frigo. Allez donc dans des chaînes impersonelles si vous préférez. Ici c'est conviviale et familiale. Demandez vous aussi pourquoi il est complet

Un sitio con estilo, mimosamente cuidado, con el encanto de edificios que ya no se hacen así. El personal muy atento y agradable. La habitación, muy espaciosa con muchas comodidades. Sin lugar a duda volvería a alojarme ahí

Hôtel à fuir !!!
Hotel vieillot, hygiène plus que douteuse, literie déplorable, accueil particulier et excessivement cher pour la prestation ! Je comprends maintenant pourquoi c était le seul hôtel du secteur qui avait de la disponibilité en dernière minute … la seule note positive serait son emplacement à proximité du centre ville …

I needed a place to stay while visiting WWI sites and this hotel did what was needed. My room was comfortable and the double-glazed windows kept out the noise. The two men who seem to run it were friendly. I speak French so can't judge their English skills, which some other reviewers have raised. My main complaint was that I felt it was a bit over-priced for what it is, a small simple family-run French small town hotel. On the other hand, the buffet breakfast was good value. I'd also point out, that unlike many hotels of this type in France, my room had a coffee machine, a microwave and a small fridge, so you could eat a simple meal, which is not bad since this is not a particularly good food part of France.| Beware that you don't have many choices in Albert. It's the center of the Battle of the Somme area and has an excellent museum, but it has very few hotel or restaurant choices. From what I gather, there's another hotel near the church that was closed the night I was there, and one modern one on the edge of town. I guess most of the many tourists I saw at the sites stay in Amiens or did day trips from Paris.

No hot water, shower and sink in bedroom smelling of drains, and be aware of the toilet fitted with some form of engine that admits random noises at night , very overpriced and grumpy service along with unfriendly signs telling us that no, none of the staff speak any English at all, I didn’t ask! Very disappointing after a long drive from the south, certainly would not recommend, thankfully we stayed only one night after a long drive from the south

Pretty poor hotel. The staff member/owner was very unhelpful bordering on rude. Rooms smelt of stale smoke. Hotel needs upgrading. Breakfast was OK, with nice fresh baguettes and croissants, but that was the only highlight. Won't be staying again!

Accueil triste par un patron triste qui semble attendre passivement la fermetre de son hôtel. Chambre correcte mais sans charme et décoration sans goût.
Petit-déjeuner à éviter: jambon encore dans l'emballage de chez Lidle...aucun effort de présentation et pourtant 11€ quand même!

Odeur de cigarette dans la chambre, eau tiède dans la douche, mauvaise insonorisation et jambon périmé dans le frigo du pti dej. On s'en est contenté pour une courte nuit, mais on ne reviendra pas.

J'ai séjourné plusieurs fois ici et toujours un accueil au top, gentillesse et sourire. Chambre au top super bien équipée et spacieuse bref je recommande merci pour tout encore.

Wir sind sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen worden. Der Hotelchef war sehr freundlich und hat unsere Schwierigkeiten mit der französischen Sprache locker umschifft. Das Familienzimmer, das wir kurzfristig gebucht hatten, war sehr sauber und in allem Nötigen "funktionstüchtig". Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen, da wir es nicht gebucht hatten. Wir können das "Hotel de la Paix" weiterempfehlen.

Choix de plats régionaux et desserts maison. Salle de restaurant un peu bruyante.
