When we came in our first room everything was really gross; dust al over de floor and furniture. Also on the furniture were white stains. We asked for an alternative and we were given another room. Here was it a bit better, but in de cloth closet were blankets with big yellow stains en molt. In one night stand there was also a gross pillow. In general didn’t have a good experience mainly because of the hygiene. I wouldnt recommend this hotel.

The rooms and the toilet smelled a bit strange, no fridge. Check-in and out and leaving luggage until check-in went really smooth. Great location, calm area, next to subway. Friendly amd helpful stuff.

Hotel is in an excellent location and is nice. They screwed up our reservation pretty bad. We had reserved a suite because we’re a family of four they had us all set up in a tiny double. They worked it out for us. Split the family into two rooms and then moved us into the suite for day 2. We were thankful for that and the staff was helpful, but it was a bit inconvenient and there was no effort to compensate for the hassle. Also, the breakfast is not free. It is 15 Euro per person, per day. They don’t really explain that. When you check in, they just say “oh breakfast is downstairs,” when you go to breakfast there is no indication it doesn’t come with the room. Then when you check out of the hotel, they say, “that will be whatever for the breakfast” It is pretty good though.

Run and don't look back. While the reception and staff were super helpful, I couldn't get over how old and smelly the room and building were. Granted, it's an 'older' building, and I booked it because of its location in Paris. It looks nothing like it shows on the website. We booked the Junior suite because we needed a room for us and my two kids.

Firstly, the carpet is old and smells like someone's grandma's musky house. They have an elevator, but it only fits two people at a time. It's only three floors, but the stairs are so narrow that bringing luggage up or down will be tough. It's definitely not ADA accessible.

All the rooms are named after King Henry the VIII's wives. We were in Anne Boyle's room, which I think is the only "Junior Suite" they had. It is the only one with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

Thank goodness we only booked it for two nights. The sofa bed has a thin mattress that squeaked every time my kid moved. The room was so small we had nowhere to put our luggage. The tub didn't drain properly. The toilet room was very small and awkwardly situated between the bed and the other room.

We didn't opted in for the breakfast buffet. I took a look one morning and I am glad we didn't. It cost $19 EUR per person and didn't look appetizing. You are surrounded by so many other wonderful cafe options that I would opted to do that then eat at the hotel. Is a unique dining area where they have the breakfast. It is in their lower basement level so there's no windows and looks very medieval which fits into its theme.

The TV didn't offer much; the only channel available was in French. Everything looked broken or dirty from the carpet flooring to the bathroom shower compartments. Classified as a 3-star hotel, I'd say it's more like 1 star because it only offers a sleeping area and a bathroom. The sheets on the sofa bed were thin, and you could feel the springs when lying on it. The double bed was actually decent. It's located on a noisy street; we heard people partying throughout the night which we didn't really mind. Close the window and you don't even hear them. We needed the air so the window was open. There was no air conditioning or fan.

The only good part of the room was the distant view of the Eiffel Tower from our window. You do get that "Parisian" feel staying there--not suited for family or if you can't go up and down stairs. I imagine it gets really uncomfortably hot in the summer with no cooling options. Great location and the front desk were super friendly--just spend a few more dollars and you could get the same but with better sleeping arrangements.
