CAMPANILE BORDEAUX SUD GRADIGNAN TALENCE ^{* * *}

Franchement, j'ai passé un super moment au Campanile de Bordeaux Gradignan. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe : tout le monde a été adorable et vraiment aux petits soins avec moi. Ça fait toute la différence et ça a rendu mon séjour hyper agréable.
Ce qui a été un vrai soulagement pour moi, c'est qu'ils acceptent les animaux. Voyager avec mon chat, ce n'est pas toujours simple, alors trouver un hôtel qui l'accueille aussi bien, c'est un énorme plus. Ça m'a vraiment facilité la vie.
En plus, l'hôtel est super bien placé, nickel pour bouger dans le coin. Et la petite surprise qui fait sourire : les jolis moutons noirs qui s'occupent du jardin de façon écolo ! C'est une touche d'originalité et de nature bien sympa.
Bref, je recommande les yeux fermés et si je repasse par Bordeaux, c'est sûr, je reviendrai !

The ONLY positives about this hotel were the convenient location and the young staff who were rather sweet if maybe inexperienced. Sadly, in other respects this is a hotel to avoid. The motel-style room block is tired and in dire need of refurbishment if not demolition. Our room did not look like some of the pictures on the internet - it was poorly cleaned (dust and bits on floor, tea/coffee tray still had rubbish on it) yet the cleaner had the time to write and put up a post it note on the bathroom mirror wishing us a nice stay ????‍♀️. The bathroom was grim - bathroom shelf and towel rack both coming away from the wall; shower screen and tiles had long standing blackening; floor tiles had a dried on cement patch. The bed was too big for the room which meant one of us had to squeeze against the wall and duck under the wall- mounted TV to get in and out of bed. Cooling/heating system wasn’t working properly so room felt cold and damp on arrival and didn’t warm up even when we turned up the thermostat. The reception/restaurant is housed in a separate pleasant enough building where evening meals and breakfast are served. The evening menu is limited, on the expensive side and involves a confusing tariff arrangement if you want to add a starter or pudding to main course. The standard of the food does not justify the price. Breakfast is expensive, self-service and only available until 9am on a weekday. When we arrived at 8.20 key items on the buffet were depleted and we had to ask for replenishment. The only cooked items on the menu were a self service boiled egg or toast. Our bill came to 165 euros for one night with dinner and breakfast - frankly we felt ripped off. Will not be stopping here on our way home.

Buffets entrée/desserts ainsi que plats très corrects qualité/ prix.
Personnel souriant et professionnel.
Cadre sympathique, verdoyant et calme idéalement situé proche rocade.

Hotel propre et à proximité de tout. Réveil sympa face aux moutons en face de la chambre. Pas mal de place de stationnement dans l'hôtel. ||++ la chambre était équipée d'une baignoire + tele avec YouTube et possibilité de se connecter à Netflix.

Suffisant pour une ou deux nuits, propre, accueillant, restauration correcte. Juste un peu de bruit, les cloisons ne sont pas hyper épaisses!
