Wow! This is easily one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful rooms with incredible views. Lovely friendly animals and fantastic hospitality. You can also easily walk into the local town! It blew us away how authentic the experience was. If you’re considering it, book it immediately!!

Une très belle découverte, une magnifique rencontre avec des hôtes passionnés et très accueillants dans un cadre superbe, une chambre et une maison pleines de charme décorées avec beaucoup de goût, une dégustation de vins complète et intéressante, une superbe vue sur les vignobles, un jardin et une propriété très bien entretenus, au calme, très reposant... Bref, vous aurez compris, on a beaucoup aimé. Nous-même propriétaires d'une maison d'hôtes en Dordogne, nous avons apprécié de partager les mêmes valeurs et la passion du métier.

Un accueil super et chaleureux pour la visite du château ! Les équipes sont à l’écoute et investies dans la visite, on a ressenti la passion et la dévotion du métier !
Nous avons eu le droit à la dégustation des vins que propose le château, nous n’étions pas sur un cour d’œnologie mais nous avons profité de toutes les particularité des vins !
De plus le cadre est juste incroyable, vue sur toutes les vignes du domaine avec un panorama incroyable !

Visite lors des portes ouvertes de la Côte de Bourg : un accueil chaleureux de la part des propriétaires, qui nous ont fait découvrir leur superbe château. Le lieu est très agréable, les vins délicieux, que nous avons dégustés à la Vinoguette. Une superbe adresse à retenir !

We stopped by in our campervan for a tasting, and loved it. We found the host working outside setting up for a blues concert that night. He stopped to serve us their excellent wines. I liked the place so much that I reserved a room for our trip back to Portugal. Unfortunately, we returned by the southern route, so I cancelled, but I will make sure to stop by on our next trip. Loved their big, friendly dog.

Lovely traditional family Chateau near Bordeaux. Perfect location and everyone so friendly. Used it as a road trip stop off en route from St Malo to Alicante . Beautiful room, breakfast all home made and in area just off family kitchen. No dinner but owner recommended restaurant in nearby Bourg where his son was doing a wine to match gourmet food night. Loved it. Went into the chateau wine cave and purchased some wine (would have bought more but car was full of our stuff taking to Spain Villa). Saving wine for special occasion as we know at price and vintage will be a real bargain, no hesitation in staying there again,

Just an amazing place. It has everything that you can look for. Surrounded by vineyards, a pool, sauna, stunning view from the room and incredible hosts! Don’t forget to secure some bottle of wines before you leave. They are exquisite. A true gem!

Had an outstanding stay at the Chateau de la Grave! Philippe and Valerie were gracious hosts. Everything was perfect! The accommodation, hospitality, breakfast, views, tasting room/wines and let's not forget about the cats and will return again!

La qualité du lieu n'a d'égal que la gentillesse des propriétaires.
Ne pas s'y arrêter ni déguster certains des vins produits qui dont remarquables serait une erreur !

Underbar miljö, fantastiska rum. Trevlig vinbar och gratis vinprovning. Underbart värdpar som gav ett fantastiskt bemötande. Det är en bit att ta sig om man ska äta middag men värdparet körde och hämtade pizza åt oss.

Simply wonderful place to stay and relax. It is stunning and Philippe and Valérie Bassereau are wonderful hosts- it is very much that you are house guests in their home. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are beautifully appointed as are the communal areas. The wine tasting is phenomenally good- they have many more wines they produce which the Wine Society doesn't even stock..yet!|This was our second visist and we will return.

Wir hatten eine spontane Weinverkostung im wunderschön hergerichteten Außenbereich des Weingutes. Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend bedient und konnten die verkosteten Weine anschließend direkt erwerben.
Der malerische Ausblick vom Weingut aus, lässt einen komplett die Zeit vergessen und wir hätten noch ewig bleiben können.

The owner Valerie waited for my family till midnight since we got lost on our way from a dinner in Paulliac. She is a wonderful person, the hotel is wonderful, the vineyard is wonderful. I can comfortably say that this was the best hotel we stayed in the area. Avoid overrated expensive places, this is your best bet.

Une parenthèse enchantée dans un décor idyllique….
Les hôtes sont attentifs au bien être de leurs visiteurs.
On se sent tout de suite bien, dans cette atmosphère familiale. Le calme est propice à une totale déconnexion.
La piscine est très agréable. La chambre Latour pour nous, agencée et décorée avec goût.
Le petit déjeuner copieux et raffiné.
La dégustation des vins a permis de découvrir les cépages du domaine et la promenade dans les sentiers de la vigne est fort appréciable.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Outstanding Beautiful Chateau nestled in a magical tranquil setting of rolling vineyards with boutique luxury accommodation, bespoke wine tasting of the estates’ vintages and superb hospitality from the family, Valerie and Philippe.||The Chateau is stunningly beautiful, impressive and lovingly furnished with the feeling of a treasured happy family home with swimming pool within its estate. Our Tower room was huge, lovingly furnished with antiques and with a large luxury ensuite located in the adjacent Tower. Every facility was immaculately clean, and 5-star standard. Superb boutique accommodation with idyllic views of the vineyards. ||Breakfast was downstairs in a magnificent room with fruit salad, yoghurt, granola, cereals, the best brioche in the world, croissants, various French breads, cheese/ ham and a choice of freshly cooked eggs with coffees / juices with Valerie’s welcoming and superb scrambled eggs it was a perfect start to the day. ||Chateau de la Grave is a working family vineyard with Philippe providing the most enjoyable and informative private wine tasting of 9 of the Chateau’s Red/White/ Sparkling wines – fantastic.||Valerie and Philippe kindly administered first aid for a small cut - their care and kindness was above and beyond.||Our stay was absolutely wonderful. ||Many thanks Valerie and Philippe.

Quel endroit magique, au milieu des vignes et loin du tourisme de masse. Un accueil chaleureux, une terrasse de rêve. La suite est pleine de charme, la vue est imprenable, même depuis la salle de bain, aménagée dans l'ancien donjon. Séjour enchanteur garanti ! Avec, en prime, la visite en matinée des chais...
