Caroline - eine anerkannte Winzerin und Weintrainerin - und Sean Feely verließen Irland, um sich auf dem Château Haut-Garrigue auf 10 Hektar in einem Bio-Weinberg mit Blick auf das Tal der Dordogne niederzulassen. Sie wollten ihr Weingut für Besucher öffnen und richteten ein Gästezimmer und zwei komplett ausgestattete, luxuriös möblierte und ökologisch aus Holz gebaute Ferienhäuser ein, die zudem einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Tal bieten. Sie organisieren halb- und ganztägige Entdeckungsreisen zu den Weinen der Region mit Weinproben, Erlebnisessen und sogar der Möglichkeit, unsere eigene Assemblage zu kreieren.

I had not been to an event like thos before but I felt at home and comfortable the whole day and really enjoyed learning the whole process in how they make their organic wine at the Freely vineyard.
I can't say thank you enough, my girlfriend and I simply enjoyed our visit from start to finish and that was down to the host and setting which are all excellent and I can't recommend paying a visit to hear enough.

She took us to Jean Faure and Chateau Bernateau, and proved to be exceptionally knowledgable about the region, the wine making process and any other questions we posed.
For lunch we went to Chateau de Candale and the food was incredible and it was a great way to break up our tastings. We loved learning about what brought Caro and her husband Sean to the area.
Caro thought of everything, helping us pick accommodation in Saint-Emilion, answering our questions and even giving us some wine from Chateau Feely and a book when the tour ended.
We got a voucher for this experience as an engagement present, and it was one of the best presents we have ever received. An unforgettable day and it's inspired a whole new level of curiosity about wine. We would definitely recommend this as a gift for someone you love or for yourself!
