Every aspect of our stay was exceptional: the decor was stunning and tasteful, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious with many choices for all tastes, the property was peaceful and full of flowers, Frederic was incredibly friendly and helpful and a delight to interact with. He added all kinds of little touches that went above and beyond, and had great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit in the area. Our stay was definitely a highlight of our two weeks in France.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux à la maison d’hôte Le Temps Retrouvé ! L'accueil était chaleureux, les chambres sont magnifiques et très confortables, et le petit-déjeuner était délicieux. L'emplacement est idéal pour explorer Sarlat et ses environs. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit et avons hâte d'y retourner.

I spent 7 days in this little piece of heaven. My friends had previously stayed here and raved about it. I can tell you I was not disappointed. As the wrought iron gates opened and we walked up the long drive revealing a magnificent house surrounded by a tranquil, beautiful garden shaded by giant old trees. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the host and of course the dog, Olia. The house is full of treasures, books, paintings, sculptures and so on.|My room was beautiful overlooking the gardens. The bed was heaven with a fluffy light doona to snuggle under.|Nothing was too much trouble, Frederic ensured we were always comfortable and had everything we needed. Even providing us with suggestions of where to eat and what to see. Breakfast every morning was a delight, as Frederic surprised us with a selection of pastries, bread and fresh fruit, sourced from local producers and oh so fresh.|Thank you Frederic for your impeccable hospitality.|I was sad to say goodbye but be assured I will be back.

We stayed as a couple at LTR approximately 18 months ago, and have raved about our stay ever since. Two of our friends decided to join us for this stay.|Would the experience for them be as we had described, or would LTR have been so hyped up by our description that the real experience was not quite as good as we had said?|From the moment, the wrought iron gates swung open, we had no fears. Our friends were already going "Wow" as we went up the gentle curve of the driveway and when the house came into view, our friends were speechless, as were we. LTR was exactly as we remembered and the welcome was as warm as ever.|The house and the rooms were still impeccably styled and furnished, the beds were as comfortable as we remembered, and you could feel the stress and the tension just melt away.|Breakfast was simple but delicious, with everything, where possible, sourced locally.|Advice was provided on where to go and what to see in the area.|Restaurants were only recommended if our hosts had eaten there and they were happy to make bookings for us. We were never disappointed.|The grounds have many places where you can sit and read, listen to the birds, watch the squirrels or simply admire the extensive gardens and woodlands around the house.|We are already planning our next stay sp that we can continue our exploration of the Perigord Noir.

Cette demeure propose un très joli cadre avec des arbres majestueux, |Elle est proche du centre de Sarlat. |La chambre était très spacieuse.|Nous avons apprécié l'accueil attentionné. |Très agréable séjour en ce lieu. |A proximité : de nombreuses visites de châteaux, villages et jardins. ||
