We decided to make a detour from our route from Toulouse to Bordeaux. Of course we had followed the hosts journey on TV but the lunch was fabulous and well worth the visit. Graham was friendly and knowledgeable as he guided is through the menu and drinks. We demolished a charcuterie board with a perfectly recommended wine and managed to make room for a delicious homemade cheesecake. The homemade chutney was another level.

Excellent cheese, meat and bread board, choosen by Damon, using local produce. Very good red and rose wine. All in all, a very nice evening and a pleasure meeting Graham and Damon on our Anniversary.

That is the best way to review our stay at Planches et plonk.
Graham and Damien were perfect hosts.
The rooms were lovely and very peaceful
The wines exceptional and the platters delightful.
If you have a bucket list this must be on it.

Nous avons partagé une planche avec ma femme, les planches sont un peu chères mais les produits sont de très bonne qualité et le service au top!!! Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Une ruelle hors du temps, un intérieur so cosy, ces messieurs délicats et elle si pep’s,
Deux fois que la bourgogne s’invite et bien sachez que cela augure de nombreuses et récurrentes visites.

Nous sommes venus pour une petite pause à midi. L'accueil est très chaleureux, les deux patrons soucieux du confort de leurs hôtes. Nous avons dégusté la grande planchette. Les produits sont délicieux et de qualité. Le vin aussi, un petit Bergerac, était très bon. Nous reviendrons. Merci beaucoup

We booked Graham and Damon to work their Planches et Plonk magic for our ceremony following our wedding at the nearby Chateau Sainte Croix, and we couldn't recommend them highly enough, we've visited before and loved what they do, so to be able to share this with our guests helped build our very special day. Our guests loved chatting with Graham and Damon as well as sampling local delicacies from the region, thanks to their knowledge and presentation the guests were thrilled with the food and flavours.

WOW! Amazing. This is a must. G & D were brilliant, listened to our preferred style of food and wine and hit every single note. Beautiful location and the restaurant just makes you feel that feeling when something is special. Can't wait to return.

Söimme kahdelle hengelle suositellun paikallisten tuotteiden juusto-,kinkku- ja ankanpateeta, erilaisten leipien ja viinin kera. Tarjottavat olivat todella herkullisia. Omistajat olivat todella ystävällisiä ja tulivat juttelemaan kanssamme. Paikan sisustus sopi juusto/viini teemaan.

We cannot recommend Planches et Plonk enough. The room was lovely and spacious, and had everything we needed. The location is amazing, and Graham and Damon were wonderful hosts and provided lots of great tips and recommendations during our stay.

We ate in the cheese and wine bar one evening and the food (and wine) was absolutely incredible. We asked Graham and Damon to recommend a couple of cheeses for us and they were absolutely delicious.

Obviously, Malbec deserves a special mention for being the best boy too!

When our stay came to an end neither of us wanted to leave and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future!

We spent a lovely few hours enjoying lunch at Planches et Plonk. We had the charcouterie & cheese board. You had 8 x options (you can have just 4 or even 16 if you want), and we chose 5 x different cheeses and 3 x meat. We loved the Ezpela with chilli & the black ham, although was all good. It was well presented as shown. We chose a local red wine, Chateau Montdoyen Bergerac 2020. Delicious, so we had to buy two bottles to take away (should have bought more). Cheesecake to follow.
Damon & Graham are superb hosts and wish them continued success.

We booked table for lunch a while ago, after watching the hosts journey developing their excellent business on New Life in the Sun. We were not disappointed. The hosts, service and venue were excellent, we hope to return one day soon. Keep up the great work.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely location, Graham and Damon are amazing, super friendly and made so welcome,
Wonderful breakfast to set us up for the day, the food and wine in the evening were absolutely delicious.

Lovely wine ,cheese, and meat platters run by two exceptionally charming and attentive patrons who know what they are doing. Set on a pedestrian street in a very pretty town in rural France. A fantastic experience.

Not close, but some reasonable, a large car park on the edge of the town.

A number of offers for different platters with different prices.

GOOD choices with knowledgeable discussion.
OVERALL.
well worth a visit, nice people good discussion, good selection of cheeses & wine.

I would have liked to have a detailed plan of our platter identifying each cheese and charcuterie to take away at the end of the meal.

We stayed for a night in the Pechamant room, lovely room, very quiet and extremely comfortable. We has a fantastic lunch, excellent cheese and charcuterie and superb wines. Would highly recommend.

Un endroit cosy, un peu de jazz, une décoration chaleureuse et un accueil formidable. Des produits locaux de qualité. Vraiment une belle surprise... Nous n'avons qu'une soirée à passer a Belvès mais nous aimerions déjeuner et dîner régulièrement dans ce bel endroit.
A coup sur, nous reviendrons..
