Hometown Paris, who found this feedback, sent me a threatening email saying that they would not refund my money if I did not delete this feedback.

This threat is illogical, since they canceled my reservation without notice and did not refund my money despite my repeated requests.

However, I have chosen to leave this feedback for travelers who plan to use this company's services in the future.

Doing business with this company is risky and not recommended.

I am a traveler living in Tokyo.

On February 22, 2023, I made a reservation for an apartment on this company's Resorts & Towns SPRL website, Hometown Paris.

The name of the apartment is Halles de Paris, the address is 12 rue des Halles 75001 Paris, and the reservation period is July 29, 2024 to August 03, 2024 (5 nights).

The purpose of the trip is to enjoy the Paris Olympics with my wife.

At the same time as the reservation, I paid a deposit of 562 EURO out of the accommodation fee of 1,125 EURO by credit card.

On July 1, 2024, less than a month before the start of the trip, I sent an inquiry to this company to confirm the final reservation and to confirm the payment method for the remaining balance.

A few days later, I received a response from this company saying that your reservation was canceled several months ago.

Of course, I did not receive any cancellation notice. This company canceled my Olympic trip accommodation without any notice.

And what's even more frightening is that this company will not refund my deposit of 562 EURO. I have requested a refund countless times, but as of today, September 12, 2024, it has still not been refunded. I can't believe it.

I wonder if this company is functioning properly.

I recommend that all good travelers do not use this apartment rental company to avoid any trouble. I can only pray that no one will become a victim like me.

By the way, I rebooked another hotel for the Paris Olympics accommodation and everything was fine. It was a wonderful Olympic trip. If I hadn't booked this apartment from the beginning, the Olympics would have been even more enjoyable.

She helped us navigate everything we needed to know to feel at home and was immediately helpful when we had one thing that needed to be solved. The apartment was very neat, comfortable and clean. We appreciate Hometown’s services!

Mon conjoint et moi-même nous rendons régulièrement sur Paris et Sète pour rendre visite à nos proches et nous passons toujours par Hometown Expérience depuis maintenant plusieurs années !
Une équipe au top quelle que soit la ville et nous sommes plus que ravis des appartements !

HOMETOWN…THE NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!!!
Mon mari et moi-même avions réservé un appartement à Paris pour 10 jours en juin dernier. La veille de notre séjour nous avons reçu un texto comme quoi notre réservation (entièrement réglée) avait été annulée 2 mois auparavant. Or nous n’avons jamais été informés de cette annulation. En revanche nous avons bien reçu plusieurs mails (jusqu’à l’avant-veille de notre arrivée) nous confirmant la réservation. Cherchez l’erreur!! Certes nous avons été remboursés mais aucune proposition de relogement ne nous a été offerte. Deux jours de vacances totalement gâchés par le stress et la recherche précipitée d’un logement pour finalement nous retrouver dans un appartement de moindre standing pour un coût plus élevé. En plus du refus catégorique de nous dédommager pour le surcoût occasionné, les mails que nous avons reçus de leur PDG démontrent à la fois une arrogance, une mauvaise foi et un mépris tels à notre égard (nous sommes incapables de lire un contrat!) que notre seul conseil sera: STAY AWAY!!!
