LA MARÉBAUDIÈRE ^{* * * *}

Whilst this is rated a 4 star hotel, the facilities and customer service would rate it lower from my own experience. |The bathroom was very basic, and the toilet was on a plinth and very difficult to get on and off. The shower door was hanging off and would not close.|The bed was comfortable. However, the pillows were not. They were very old and somewhat tatty.|The breakfast was very poor, very limited cooked breakfast, and the bacon was served undercooked. Scrambled egg, which they ran out of. Anaemic sausages. All served luke warm.|Coffee and tea from a machine.|Fruit salad that had clearly been frozen and, of poor quality.|Lots of drilling and banging took place throughout the day, so afternoon resting was difficult. |Some positive things were that they had a large car park.|There was a lift. The hotel is a mile from the town, so only a 20-minute walk.||

Très bien accueilli dès notre arrivée avec le sourire, compétence, explications et sachant anticiper nos demandes. Merci pour cette belle étape d’un excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Decent hotel, room was pleasant, big bed, very comfy. Shower room was a little dated but everything worked fine. Was a little noise from room next door, walls a little thin, so maybe would benefit from some additional sound proofing between rooms. Breakfast was an excellent self service buffet.
