In Kientzheim ist das Weingut Paul Blanck eine echte Institution: 24 Hektar, 5 Grands Crus, 5 lieux-dits und 120.000 Flaschen, die jedes Jahr produziert werden. Hier wird alles von Hand gemacht, ohne Dünger und mit Respekt vor dem Leben. Das Ergebnis sind außergewöhnliche Cuvées, wie dieser Gewürztraminer Sélection Grains Nobles 2020, mit einer Nase von Zitrusfrüchten und Kürbis und einem herrlich pfeffrigen Mundgefühl. Geo-vinistische Spaziergänge und sommerliche Aperitifs runden diese epikureische Parenthese ab.

A bottle of wine costs €11-35 at the winery.
