We loved our stay at Seasons. If you are looking for an authentic, peaceful and real Zanzibar experience - Seasons lodge is it! The rooms are amazing - we slept with doors open with a sea breeze and the sound of the ocean. I don't think you could get any closer to the beach. Rooms are spacious, light, airy and comfortable. We upgraded to a room with a private pool - the best decision! Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff were extremely helpful. Can thoroughly recommend.

Staying in your cottage was like a dream. The view from the room to the sea was heavenly, the staff generous and polite, they did everything to make us feel good. I would love to come back, and if you want a totally exotic and dreamlike experience, choose this location, you will not regret

Abbiamo passato due settimane in questo splendide lodge, in cottage con piccolo spiaggia privata con vista mare. Lo staff sempre cordiale e sempre attenti alle esigenze del cliente. Le camera sempre pulite, il menu dello chef cambiava ogni giorno, i piatti deliziosi e saporiti, abbiamo richiesto anche il cibo tradizionale swahili. Per andare a fare le escursioni oppure visitare il centro si chieda alla reception, i tragitti sono di massimo 1h, gli autista sono sempre gentili , parlano inglese, italiano e francese, si può anche richiedere un interprete per alcune escursioni.

Raccomando al 100% questo hotel, Il Manage Chris, john, muini e lo staff sono stati fantastici.

Beautiful gem of a hotel tucked away in a quiet beach in Pongwe. The perfect romantic getaway to round off a 3 week honeymoon in Tanzania. The hotel has a very laid back, relaxed, shabby chic eco-hippie vibe which oozes cool. No frills - no pretentiousness. The staff are absolutely top notch - super friendly, attentive, and more than happy to have a laugh (and a drink) with you at happy hour. They are always joking around with each other, which is always a great sign!

We found the food to be varied and delicious every day - no need to venture elsewhere. The chefs are super smiley and more than happy to whip you up some eggs for breakfast. Can also recommend the seafood platter for 2 one evening!

Another highlight is definitely the three house dogs, who try to escape the sweltering sun during the day under your sun lounger, but love to play on the beach with you in the tidepools at sunset. We already miss Disco, Taxi, and Cookie ❤

All in all, if you are looking for a laid back, secluded, romantic setting where you can connect with nature and truly switch off, Seasons is the place. Thank you Chris and team!
