The sheikh is quite the collector (but do material possessions bring happiness?) At least he allows others to see his stuff.

A lovely and large museum that displays many artifacts, souvenirs, carpets, architecture, vehicles, and collections of a member of the Qatari royal family; Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim.

The place is huge and packed with displayed items, and is well organized.

Tickets are bought at the entrance by cash or card. One walks through different rooms with different displays.

Expect to spend anywhere between 2 hours to a full day.

There is a cafeteria at the exit, and a souvenirs store. This museum is around 30 minutes by car from Doha city center, and is located inside a resort.

There is a small pond outside the museum with ducks, and a leaning mosque.

Doha' ya biraz uzak bir mesafede olan bir müze ama gittiğimizde değdi. Müze çeşitlilik açısından güzel, dizaynı güzel, sergilenen her bir öge gerçekten çok değerli. Detaylı bir gezi yaklaşık 2 saat sürebilir. Biz 1 saate yakın gezdik güzel bir deneyimdi. Katar / Doha'ya gelmeyi düşünenlere bu müzeyi gezmelerini tavsiye ederim

Absolutely amazing!! Must see when visiting Qatar. About 30 minutes from Downtown Doha but worth the drive, or uber is cheap. Lots of culture and history in this museum! They even have a small cafe and gift shop.

An eclectic collection of all kinds of things. The traditional rugs, pottery, ceramics, textiles and jewelry are beautiful. The Syrian house is something to see. Some areas look like a thrift store--especially dolls, baby doll carriages and other toys, lighter collection and other random items that don't rate museum quality. It's worth seeing.
