I don't often leave reviews, but I definitely had to say my piece about this hotel...The location isn't in the greatest area. Upon arrival my room was dirty. I found human hair in the bathroom, carpet, and bed sheets. The bathroom was not cleaned, as there was toothpaste still on the facet. To top it off the fire alarm has been going off for 3 nights straight, around 2am. I would not recommend this place.

Absolutely disgusting experience from fecal matter yes you read right fecal matter to blood to even hair this place checked all the boxes l would rather sleep outside then in this filth DO NOT STAY HERE

AGAIN another Awful Marriott experience. It's truly embarrassing how gross these rooms were. It almost felt like I was getting Punk'd because the rooms are so filthy I couldn't believe it was real

This place needs shut down. They don't know how to clean rooms. (Trash behind beds, hair not just in the shower but in the sink in the bathroom and the kitchen, also, all kinds of bugs found in the room like roaches wasps and beetles.) They just do not care at this location. And do not believe the 5 star reviews, they clearly have never stayed at a decent hotel before.

Literally walking distance from the airport. Free breakfast in the morning, spacious rooms, would recommend staying here for a quick getaway

The front desk manager: Kia the dumb fat clown!!!
This place is a joke when it comes to employment! I really wouldn't advise anybody to work the front desk because you will be managed by a fool. No training skills, can't read, unprofessional, and a down right loser of life...
Who tells an employee she can't go to the restroom? Who trains a person on a computer and don't sit the person in front of the screen? Then go back and tell the other employees a person don't know the procedures in one day. A pure uneducated clown. Plus, she is a control freak...I walked out after the clown told me not to go to the restroom. Roman wasn't built in one day. Therefore, people won't get everything in one day. A sorry excuse for an ????

The Residence use to be the best hotel on Monkhouse. What happen to it I don't know. The head manager is sweet and kind. But, not that messy clown over the front desk...

DO NOT STAY HERE. I rely on the Marriott brand for providing reliable hotels and have stayed at their hotels around the world. At this hotel, someone tried to break into my room in the middle of the night and hotel management did nothing to resolve the situation.

Our room was pretty rough. Like broken countertop held on by no apparent reason? It held together but no idea ???? as to how it did. The rough use of the property was very obvious. Dings and stains everywhere. The good was always the people!!! We had the best interactions with three hospitality staff. This location needs to recognize how much the girls in the front and in the cleaning crew are the backbone of service based industries. You might want to get a maintenance person on staff as well.
As for the area, it seems like a fairly safe and quiet place

Work brought me to Shreveport. It was only for a couple of nights and didn't have time for my full complement of photos (no 360°). Staff was friendly, breakfast choices were okay. But the room/building is dated. Taking a step in the right direction by remodeling the shower. Just need to continue with updating the rest of the room.

Naylanda was at the front desk to greet us with a smile as we rolled in late Christmas night. She was even as cheerful and kind the next morning as we checked out. The staff was ready to take care of us at breakfast early morning the day after Christmas. The room was perfect. We had the king studio and I slept like a QUEEN! VERY pleased with this selection as there were others in the area we could have went to. Yes, this is where you want to stay if your in this area. Clean room, with a kitchen, quiet.

The daytime front desk person was very friendly and helpful in finding when a room would be available and letting me know. She went above and beyond to be helpful.
The night reception person was also very friendly and professional helping several guests at the same time and keeping us all informed and helping us as quickly as possible.
Rayna, the breakfast coordinator, was also very helpful and friendly. The area was other Ky amd clean and she helped several people who had special requests. Very dedicated and helpful. Impressive staff.

There were bugs everywhere. Roaches as well as other types. Disgusting, do not recommend. Then, they didn't refund my money after saying they would.

We are pleased with our stay! Mrs Reyna in food and beverage was so friendly and the breakfast was very good!
The rooms were cleanish. Few stains on the sheets and some hair in the shower. The carpets felt squishy. The suite was very roomy.
The location was ehh, the buildings around this hotel are run down and closed. It’s a little uneasy. The parking was few.
But we were always greeted with warm smiles and good mornings. So over all pretty good!

As soon I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and great service. I love everything about this hotel here from breakfast in the morning to the rooms size and the staff. You can tell that the hotel is run the correct way and that the Employees there take pride in their work. Every time I come to this hotel, it never fails me. Everything is up to my expectations and more. Highly recommend
