Wenn man das Schild liest, denkt man sofort an den Kultsong der Eagles. Dieses Hotel ist eines der preisgünstigsten Hotels am Strand. Das Hotel ist mit Surfbrettern geschmückt, die hier und da aufgehängt sind. Das Frühstück (Kaffee und Doughnuts) ist kostenlos. Ein großzügiger Ort, sowohl was seine Lage als auch seinen Service und die angebotene Erfahrung betrifft.

Beautiful retro hotel in a great location. But be careful: nothing for the winter. They only had a small fan heater for two rooms. And the windows fall out of the frame. Very in need of repair.

I was worried with the bad reviews about bugs in the rooms and it’s being sketchy(considering it’s California) but we had an absolutely amazing time I felt safe walking to the bars and home at 2 am the rooms were clean and maintained it’s so close to the pier and shops and the beach is right there I 100% would stay in this room again and also not too far from LAX phenomenal stay!!!! Staff was also very helpful and handled any issue definitely best hotel for the price in that location

I previously posted a bad review based on the original room and service — however, James at the Sea Blue Hotel really came through! He addressed my concerns with the original room, and helped us find a new room for the remainder of our stay.
This hotel is very centrally located, near tons of great restaurants and the pier, and has been overall a good place to stay in. The room we were moved to was clean, spacious, and quiet. I appreciate the help from management and recommend staying here for a chill SM vacation.
