Nördlich von East Hollywood und dem Santa Monica Boulevard gelegen, zeichnet sich das Hollywood Hotel durch sein mehrsprachiges Team und sein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet. Jedes Zimmer verfügt unter anderem über einen Kühlschrank, eine Mikrowelle und eine Kaffeemaschine. Außerdem gibt es einen schönen Pool, der 2016 neu gestaltet wurde, sowie eine Sauna und einen Fitnessraum, die zu einem Wellness-Aufenthalt einladen. Reisende ohne Auto werden die Nähe zum U-Bahnhof Vermont/Santa Monica - Red Line zu schätzen wissen.

Was good value for the price, a couple things didnt work in my room but i told them and it wasnt a deal breaker for me.

I want to start my review by saying the staff was all friendly and helpful, my main gripe is calling this a 4 star hotel when its nowhere near that. The bathroom seems like a motel 6 bathroom, there are obviously painted over mold stains in it. It was as clean as could be given the state of the building but it feels like a wild over-exaggeration to consider this anything over 3 stars. The AC has no heat option and we were freezing, we looked in the storage and saw you could have extra sheets (not blankets) but if you used them, it costs 30$. Parking is also 35$, and overall the photos must be touched up or something because the scratch marks all over the wall, the bubbled up paint, and very cheap amenities are not that of what would be a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is solid, nothing really to complain about but also nothing really to be excited about. The location is ok for LA, there is even public transportation nearby which is definitely a plus if you’re a foreigner who chooses not to rent a car.

Breakfast is a classic buffet style continental breakfast.

With the booking you apparently sign up for their newsletter which is pretty annoying. I tried unsubscribing at least 4 times but they just don’t remove me from their mailing list.

Had a great time watching comedy called The Return of the Hollywood Hotel. Great comedians! Every second Saturday of the month! If you have time to check it out I highly suggest it!
