Dieses prunkvolle Hotel wurde im Januar 2018 in dem Gebäude, in dem früher die Bank von Italien untergebracht war, am imposanten Giannini Place in Downtown eröffnet. Der ultramoderne und zugleich neoklassische Luxus dieses Hauses ist das Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit des französischen Innenarchitekten Jacques Garcia und des Pariser Kreativstudios Be-Pôles. Beachten Sie die in Blautönen bemalte Decke im italianisierenden Stil: Sie stammt aus der Zeit, als das Gebäude in den 1920er Jahren erbaut wurde. The building is incredible - the former headquarters for Bank of America! They kept the original structure and hardware in the restaurant, which is beautiful. The hotel combines it's history with unique, eccentric furniture in a way that blends together naturally.
Tall ceilings in the thoughtfully designed rooms. Recommend!
Staff were so accommodating, breakfast and dinner are excellent - nice touch with the free dessert and free wine at dinner.

Room is smaller, but carefully designed and appointed. No space is wasted. Water pressure in the large shower is a rare dream in a hotel and large bathtub fills quickly (the shelf by the tub doubled as an iPad stand to catch up on my shows). Shower door closes from floor to ceiling so you can really enjoy a steamy shower without fogging up the room. Closet is spacious and even includes a clothing steamer. Very little noise from adjacent rooms.
Pool/rooftop is really lovely. Restaurant staff are great. Room had a very minor issue and guest services offered to move me to a lovely room right away (but I kept my cozy one). Maybe I’m easily persuaded by charming details and nice staff, but it seems clear that a lot of effort goes into making the hotel feel like a good value for guests.
