Une très belle expérience !
Grâce aux conseils de Mado à l'office du tourisme de Nouméa, nous avons choisi la visite "Les coulisses de l'aquarium". Une super idée ! Une jeune guide, Jaze, passionnée et très calée, nous a fait découvrir ce que le public ne voit pas, nous a expliqué son travail, a répondu à nos questions et nous a présenté une tortue que l'aquarium a sauvé. Plein d'anecdotes.
Vraiment passionnant ! A faire !

A great activity to get out of the heat! Staff very friendly and aquarium life interesting to see. The turtles were amazing!! There was also a lookout for beautiful photos ????

If you want to know what most of the fish that are in the local sea look like, come here. There’s a beautiful diversity of colorful creatures right in the aquarium, that you can then try to find if you snorkel at Bay of Lemons, Phare Amédée etc so you see what good collection of fish there is at the Lagoon aquarium. The behind the scenes visits are great as well. This is one of 2 places in the world where the ancient nautilus is bred successfully in house, the other aquarium is in Japan. We live here and visit very often.

There is several large salt water tanks with huge, glass wall viewing ports. The two massive turtle are magnificent. My family had a nice hour or so here. Clean and respectful venue. Thank you :)

Un bon moment en famille avec enfants, y compris avec des grands. Nous avons opté en complément pour une visite des coulisses de l'aquarium. Très sympa, des explications et des choses que l'on ne voit jamais. Vu de l'intérieur, le bassin des coraux fluorescents est INCROYABLE ! L'équipe qui nous a pris en charge était très sympa et ravie de partager des infos sur leurs coulisses.les bénévoles aussi sont très investis.Je recommande.

Cool museum. Nice and clean and the gift shop was cool too. We are from America on a cruise ship and this was part of an excursion we were on. But nice museum. Kinda small but a lot of interesting fish and other creatures. The lobster was HUGE and the sharks were pretty decent size too.

Nice aquarium with a giant turtle and lots of jellies. Go through the dark rooms to view the jellyfish on the way to the outdoor tank that houses the turtles. For those who have difficulty climbing the steps, there are ramps that can be used.

Un peu cher vu la taille. On n’y voit pas de poissons hors du commun pour quiconque est allé découvrir le pays de lui-même. C’est davantage un endroit pour les enfants.
On peut malgré tout y apprendre quelques infos dans la petite salle de cinéma.

Lots of noumea sealife was displayed at the aquarium, would recommend visiting if you're on the hop-on hop-off bus around the city.
