Hotel mit einfachen, gut ausgestatteten Zimmern, die je nach Verkehr auf der Sonnenstraße manchmal laut sind. Sehr zentral gelegen.
Ein kleines Hotel ohne große Ansprüche von außen betrachtet, nur wenige Schritte vom Karlsplatz und nur 5 Minuten vom Marienplatz entfernt. Komfortable, voll ausgestattete Zimmer (Dusche, WC, Schreibtisch, Haartrockner), aber auf der Sonnenstraße kann der Autoverkehr am Ende des Tages stark sein. Wenn Sie nicht allzu lärmempfindlich sind, ist das kein Problem und Sie werden die sehr zentrale Lage zu schätzen wissen, die es Ihnen ermöglicht, einen Großteil der Wege zu Fuß zurückzulegen. Starker Preisanstieg während des Oktoberfests. Kostenloses WLAN.

Aufenthalt 05/03/2024 bis 06/03/2024.
Es ist nicht mein erstes Mal beim Daniel Hotel in Muenchen aber es war der schleschteste !!
Zimmer sehr alt ausgesttatet, Badezimmer sehr klein u. die Duschkabine war sehr eng.
Fruehstuck bekommt 0 (NULL) !! es gab einfach nichts zum freuhstucken.
kein Brot, kein Gemuse, kein Kaffe einfach nichts.
Werde nie wieder zurueck !!

I booked this hotel because the homepage mentioned airconditioning in a single standard room, unusual for Germany. Nice on a hot Sumer day.
I tried to start the a/c - nothing happened. Asking for another room with working a/c, the guys at the reception told me then, only the 2 comfort rooms have actually airconditioning - but I haven't booked a comfort room - sorry.
Other switching devices are all fake.
In other words, the hotel is lying on their website about the condition of the room.

I do not know how to answer the response of the hotel - so I edit my original comment.
I showed both guys at the reception a picture how I set the operating device - to 1 = means on. Nothing happened.
They told me, there is no air-conditioning.
If there would be an air-conditioning and I didn't get it to work - so why didn't one of your guys at the reception came up to my room and get it to work?
I only heard from them - there is no air-conditioning.
Very strange behavior of your employees.
And btw. why didn't you answer my e-MailI sent you a week later?

My wife and I had an incredible experience at your hotel, the only possible star I will give is for the very helpful gentleman at the reception who was desperate about the situation and tried to help us.
But the way you as the manager handled it is second to none, I guess the other reviews below all point to that.
You either turn everything against the customers and let them know that everything is fine with you. This is not the path to success.
Thank goodness that at that time the room we were assigned did not have heating, because that was already a signal to go to the staff to get the heating working, but unfortunately it was not possible until the morning. We were offered direct heaters. We agreed. On returning to the room, the cockroaches appeared. I don't even want to know what would have followed if my wife and I had gone to sleep normally and this disease carrier had bitten us. The gentleman who must be the Manager would reply that we brought the bugs! I think I know what I'm packing in my suitcase. Unbelievable. It's a good thing we weren't without the kids, but my wife's afraid of bugs anyway.
So I immediately clean up the hallway and get the hell out of the hotel.
We were allowed to, although the bad weather made the transfer drag on for 1,5h, but what could we do.
My worst experience in my life.
Never again….????????????????????????????????
