Dieses Hotel, das sich nur wenige Schritte von der Einkaufsstraße Laugavegur entfernt befindet, genießt eine sehr gute Lage. Es ist zwar in einem unscheinbaren Betonblock untergebracht, aber die Empfangshalle ist gemütlich und das ganze Hotel ist ansprechend. Es gibt Zimmer, Studios und Apartments. Es gibt verschiedene Größen und Standards, und einige der Unterkünfte haben Meerblick. Trotz der wenig überraschenden Einrichtung sind die Zimmer funktional und modern, und die Apartments ermöglichen einen günstigeren Aufenthalt in der isländischen Hauptstadt.

Even though they are not 4 stars hotel but you need a place for convenience and comfortable, that is enough for our budget.

This is my first trip to Iceland and we were so fortunate to have booked at FossHotel Baron. All our tours picked and dropped off right in front of the hotel, the breakfast was amazing..and very filling to set you off on a long days of tours ...rooms were simple but efficient and if you're lucky to get a room on the 4th or 5th floor you have a beautiful view of the water and the western mountain range...
Closely located to the main shopping street and restaurants ( and a 24hr convenient story) walk straight up Baronsstigur street to the church ( walk around) and hop on the red double decker buss and take a turn of the city.
I would highly recommend FossHotel Barron for your first time in Iceland ...

I've never had such a magnificent view from a hotel room in my life. Although the room is relatively basic, that's all we needed and it was perfectly comfortable, warm enough (in February) that we didn't even need to wear jumpers. The buffet breakfast serves a variety of British, continental and Icelandic options, as well as cereal, bread, fruits, and more. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Fosshotel Baron for a stay in Reykjavik

Slecht hotel. Zeer gedateerde kamers. Super slechte badkamer. Met een douchebakje van 80x80 cm met douchegordijn. Vieze lucht op de kaner
