Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Rooms are basic- small without a fridge or Iron, but clean and has tea, coffee hangers, TV and a very comfy bed. I think the basic rooms are made up by how friendly the staff are, how if you book directly you get free cheese and wine every night and as much free tea and barrister coffee as you would like all day everyday. They do have Sky TV in each room, but mine didn't work. I was not too fussed as I was hardly in the room. I was in a front room and could not hear any noise from the road whatsoever. You can however, hear everything happening in the corridor and other rooms around you. The gap of the door to the room is too big and lets a lot of corridor light in at night, so I put a towel against the door to block it out. I had the breakfast on 1 of my 3 days there. It was very basic, but once I had had 2 toasties and 2 pastries I had probably made my GBP14 back. I would stay again for sure. I recommend.

The best hotel for tourists!
My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights for a couple's London getaway and we loved our stay.
The quality and premium feel of the rooms are excellent, there is a mini-bar available for guests in the public lounge/dining area and
Just up the road is the Baker Street Underground which has incredible connections with the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan line.
Overall an incredible premium quality hotel at a fair price.

Please don’t leave any valuables in your room.. my engagement and wedding ring mysteriously disappeared after the room was cleaned. Management and police notified but I hold out little hope of getting them back.

Me ha encantado estar en el hotel Z de Gloucester Place. Muy bien ubicado, un servicio excelente, limpio y acogedor.
Gracias en especial a Alberto que nos ayudó mucho en un momento complicado.
Si vuelvo a Londres, sin duda iré a este hotel.

It’s an ok hotel. Wifi was horrible, and the ventilation made our room smell of faeces and then during the night cigarette smoke. The TV also needed to be replaced - too slow, the remote control buttons were not functioning.

The location is of course great. And the reception service was also ok.

מלון מעולה.
חדרים נקיים מאוד. שירות אדיב. מיקום מעולה. החיסרון היחיד זה שהשירותים בחדר מופרדים בזכוכית חלבית, אבל זה לא כזה נורא ובאמת שכל שאר הדברים היו מעולים.
התמורה למחיר ממש שווה את זה.
ממליץ בחום.

The house cleaning was perfect,the room was not we were put in the lower ground and it was basically the hotels maintenance room because we could here every pipe working.

Great hotel, but avoid room 5354, it is right under the lounge/dining area and you hear EVERY footstep.

First off, I want to say that this place is very cheap - but that’s it.
We were a group of 4 and I already prepaid the room for the night. As soon as we talked to someone on the front desk, they tell you that a £50 deposit is needed and we will get it back via lock box when we check out. (Gave us a card with phone numbers)

Going into the room, was so disgustingly dirty, everything was stained - from the bedsheets, walls, floor and bathroom.
Hot water worked but barely. Bed itself was like a single sheet on top of springs. Can’t even call it a mattress. The pillow had only 1/4 of actual filling inside it. Was uncomfortable to sleep and felt very unsafe throughout the entire stay.

Going to check out very early morning and there was no one in the front desk, called the numbers on the card provided using 4 different mobiles. It wasn’t even connected to a line and the call just cancelled out. So our £50 got stolen by them :/

I understand if you’re in a pinch and want to get a room at this place just for 1 night, but we were too - and honestly I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, no matter what struggle your in - find somewhere else.
If I could give negative stars I would. Idk how this place is even operating and how it meets health guidelines.

We had an amazing time at the Z hotels! Great location close to the metro station. And we had amazing service especially from Connor who made our stay! He was so friendly and gave us a warm welcome! Def recommend this hotel

Had my surgery at UCH cancelled a week before I was due to stay, they took sympathy on my by charging the full amount for cancellation. Never will be staying there, ever.

The hotel is made up of several period town houses on the same street with the reception in the main building. The building/room I stayed in was clean, comfortable and modern in interior design. Well located a short walk from Baker St station & close to several shops, café bars and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again as the quality of the accommodation at the price paid far exceeded other hotels i have stayed in London. While not a major issue for anything other than a couple of nights I would recommend booking a double/twin room as while perfectly serviceable for a short stay space was very much restricted in both the single room itself + the bathroom

You can do a lot in the area, nearby the oxford street and Hyde park.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Worse/dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at.
Staff is so rude and whenever you try contacting the manager he never responds.
They don't care about Customer care. They just wanna keep robbing people and tell em to f off if they don't like it. Horrible people and disgusting experience.

Realmente genial, una gratísima sorpresa en nuestra navidad londinese. Un hotel bien situado, tranquilo y limpio, un personal de lo más agradable y para colmo, te invitan al desayuno, con agua, cerveza, pastelitos, snacks, etc. gratis durante todo el día. Volveré sin ninguna duda la próxima vez que viaje a Londres. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

I paid the security deposit, which was 50 pounds, and he said after 4 hours it would be in your account, and now 20 hours have passed and nothing has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my god. Great fun place to spend a night. Host is a larger than life character. I had a strange downstairs room which was ok. With staying just for the concierge.

The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever walked into! I didn’t even end up staying, the place was filthy and I did not feel safe at all, the whole of downstairs smelt like smoke, fingerprints absolutely everywhere. Still awaiting my deposit back, honestly, do not book here, its grotesque!

Ever heard of a giant with a big heart?
That’s Daniel the guy from reception.
Don’t hesitate he has great advice.
Rooms and hotel in general is clean.
Stairs might be a lot if you’re in the upper floors but that might be considered your workout for a day.

I would say going by the quality of the rooms this is more of low low budget hotel. The price you will pay is base only on the location rather than the quality of the rooms on offer. I would say that the owner would benefit of refurbished the all place to be honest. Loads of chip and old furniture falling apart, the cleaning is not top, I would say just basic depending on your standards. For me is pretty low. The bed wasn't the worse to be honest.
