Perfect location, helpful staff, great view towards the river Arno. We stayed in one of the attached buildings (despite we booked the Palazzo Alfieri), only advantage was that it is quite chilly at the whole entrance/staircase area as there is no real lobby. Check-in is in the lobby of the Palazzo Alfieri. Breakfast at foody farm was excellent.
came here around Easter holidays, it is almost perfect. the room was clean and spacious with high ceiling, not expected was that it was also equipped with a huge umbrella in the room, which I had used on a rainy day! Iron and ironing board as well. Staff are polite, friendly, and helpful. They even offered me daily free breakfast, which wasn't included, as they knew I was travelling solo, but paid for a double room. Location is supreme, Ponte Vecchio is just at the arm's reach. Uffizi gallery & Duomo are also in the close vicinity. Florence is a walkable city, one could easily get to all those tourist sites from this hotel.
the only downside was that the breakfast room was small, and food selection was limited.
Overall - 3.5 star
Rooms:
Pros - plenty of towels and amenities. Came with shower and a jacuzzi. Room is spacious. They always refill out bottled water.
Bedding is clean but they don’t have duvets
Cons - lighting in the room and bathroom is terrible. Air circulation is poor. Air conditioning broke. We had to open the windows and tons of mosquitoes. Got bitten 5 times by mosquitoes
Rooms need major upgrades. Elevator was very tiny and slow.
Overall the hotel reminds me of an average 3 star hotel.
Service: We put out our DND sign but room service came knocking on the door for evening turn down?!
Reception was friendly.
Bellboy was friendly.
Breakfast buffet options are plentiful for $15
Location is amazing. Central distance to town.
Everything about this hotel is perfect! The rooms are so luxurious, the location is in close proximity to everything, the staff couldn’t do enough for you and the roof terrace had a better view than any rooftop bar we visited. Would highly recommend and will return in the future!
The best location in Firenze with the best people- without question. Access to the city center- all attractions & shopping within walking distance. Exceptional views of Florence by the Arno. Wonderful breakfast buffet- great lobby bar and cafe. Hospitality at it's best- a must stay in Florence. The entire team at Alfieri are best in class- professional & pleasant. Auguri Palazzo- ci vediamo presto.
Great hotel in a very central location. Rooms were lovely. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Hotel bar was a pleasant place to relax. There was a gym too (although didn’t need it with all the walking!) Would recommend to anyone visiting Florence.
Rooms are dated. The shower floods and ponds because the drainage is clogged up. The air ventilation makes a ton of hissing sounds that prevents one from having a good night's sleep.
And what's worse? The staff can't be bothered. We approached front desk staff two times about the noise and each time they promised to send someone to the room (and were not apologetic at all in the slightest bit).
Guess what? Nobody came at all.
What use is staying at a swanky looking hotel if you can't even sleep well at night, and the staff treats you with disdain?

Update: they offered us an upgrade ONLY on the condition of deleting this review. I.e. An upgrade not because they were truly sorry, but because they want to appear better than they are. We turned down the upgrade.
Rooms are incredible, very large for European standards, with huge ceilings with frescos, and amazing views of the Arno from the two large windows. The hotel is very good about restocking mini fridges daily, housekeeping, and dropping daily treats.
Taking off one star because there is a lot of notice heard from neighboring rooms, as the walls and floors are way too thin. Every day during our stay it sounded like someone was playing bocce ball in the room above ours. Check-in was not very smooth as it was not clear to us where the lobby was (it’s tucked in the back of a building, far from the actual entrance), and the bellhops were not really on top of things as we’d have to wait a long time or they’d leave before our taxi would arrive during check-out, leaving the baggage handling to us. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel if you want to stay near the super touristy Ponte Vecchio.
Excellent location. Fair prices. Great bar with friendly service in the lobby and a rooftop terrace to bring your sunset beverage to. The room was comfortable with a nice size shower.
Will have given a zero star if it is possible.
Do not recommend anyone to stay here.
We were unable to sleep during the stay as the room ventilator is so noisy. Despite telling the reception staff and calling the 24hr service line, they just simply ignored.
Breakfast was not good and the staff especially at the breafast room was NOT friendly at all
