Jahrhundert wurde geschmackvoll umgebaut, um Ihnen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in einer intimen Atmosphäre zu ermöglichen. Schmiedearbeiten und kostbare Stoffe schmücken die Zimmer, die bewusst auf einen Fernseher verzichten. Stattdessen gibt es einen kleinen Lesesaal und eine gut ausgestattete Bibliothek. Das Hotel verfügt heute über 15 Zimmer, von denen einige über eine eigene Terrasse verfügen.

A bit difficult to find and the entrance is inconspicuous but once there, the staff is great and the rooms are outstanding.

I booked and prepaid for a terrace room but did not receive a terrace room the desk attendant said it was because there was a problem with the terrace that they couldn't get fixed at the moment. I reiterated that the only reason I booked Antica Locanda dei Mercanti was for the terrace room and was again told there was a problem with the terrace and this was a free upgrade. As we were tired of driving and needed to unload our luggage and return our rental car I did not argue further. The next morning we found out that not only was there nothing wrong with the terrace but also all the terrace rooms were full. When we voiced our concerns to another desk attendant and pressed him on the matter we were told that there was an issue with the bathroom. We only had one night in Milan and the hotel was a frustration and a disappointment. They should have been truthful and at least offered an apology, we got neither.

A hidden gem. Located inside an apartment building, at first we were wondering if this would be for us. Not to worry. The staff are amazing, the building is authentic, and the rooms are beautiful, including our own terrace. Fantastic bed, great shower. Most of all however, is the location - we bought a city transport ticket and barely used it, as we were so close to the main attractions and many restaurants and bars. A great and friendly spot to explore Milan, without being in a chain hotel.
