The monastery is really peaceful although it can get really busy from all of the visitors. There are a few little lovable kitties around the monastery which run to you for food.
You have a wonderful view from the surrounding areas and its just a great scenery.

Jedan od najlepših pravoslavnih manastira nalazi se u Severnoj Makedoniji. Njegova posebnost je u ikonostasu koji je rađen u duborezu i u prelepim freskama.

Gostivardan güneye (Ohri ya da Strugaya giden yol üzerinde) giderken yol üzerinden bulunan çok güzel bir tarihi yapı. Faal olduğu için bazı bölümler kapalı. Girişte suyu çok güzel olan bir çeşmesi var. Manzarası harika.

Kloster 2009 abgebrannt und ab 2010 Wiederaufbau. Sehr schöne Anlage und ein Ausflug wert!

Η μόνη βρίσκεται στην περιοχή του Μαυροβου ιδρύθηκε το 1020 από τον Ιωάννη Δεβρινο που έγινε και Αρχιεπίσκοπος Αχριδος ένα μοναστήρι με πολύ και μεγάλη ιστορία που αξίζει να το επισκεφτείτε.

Prelep manastir stariji od hiljadu godina. Sveti Jovan Bogoslov sluzio je u ovom manastiru. Jos nije jasno ko je bio ktitor.

Très beau monastère

Très beau monastère dans la vallée de la Radika. L 'atmosphère y est apaisée. assister à l' office avec ses chants est un moment très fort.
belle iconostase.
On peut y dormir. C'est une belle expérience que nous avons faite

accueil dans la sérénité et la beauté

Ce monastère niché entre les montagnes du parc Mavrovo jouit d' un site exceptionnel . On peut être déçu par des travaux de restauration des bâtiments conventuels après l'incendie de 2009, qui ont privilégié le béton caché par de beaux parements de pierre. L'accueil dans le grand salon aménagé à l'orientale, lorsqu'on vous présente le livre d'or du monastère en proposant un café turc est un grand moment

Ce monastère est situé en haut d'une petite colline. Nous avons garé la voiture en bas et nous avons fait la petite montée à pied. ce n'était pas déplaisant. mais il y a quelques places à côté du monastère et on peut aussi se garer le long de la route. Nous y étions le 7 juillet et il y avait un monde fou car c'était la fête de Saint Jean-Baptiste. Du coup l'entrée était gratuite! Mais l’entrée n'est pas bien chère deux euros par personne pour les étrangers.
