Really good, showcases history in an extremely interactive manner. The virtual tour of iconic places such as Ajanta caves, and the live recreation of paintings, pictures is the highlight.
It was a very amazing experience for me and my friend..
Didn't expect to See such amazing things, got to learn more about our history and culture..
But they should add more things to their Collection, there are only few things to watch compared to other museums..
Also the directions for each Collection should be briefly explained, we seemed Lost while searching for other things to See..
If you have interest in sketching or painting then take your stuff and go inside this place and do so..they allow it.
This museum is of national importance which holds the most valuable artefact, sculptures, statues and paintings which are found during excavations.
Astonishing more than 1 lakh paintings of the Mughal era and the Ashok era.
More than 50k statues and many more.
I am amazed by seeing Ivory used in the smallest to largest object of old times.
Separate gallery for lord Buddha and the Harappan era.
If you stop and read all the details then you will not be able to see the museum in a single day.
I felt blessed when I saw Lord Buddha relics in golden stupa gifted by the Royal government of Thailand.
The experiential galleries of ragmala, ajanta and the tactile gallery are a very unique experience.
The ajanta caves, sculptures and paintings are provided in a very intuitive format using digital technologies and VR. Beautiful gallery.
The museum also hosts wonderfully curated exhibitions.

Its an wonderful place, I can't imagine Such a Good Place is hidden like a Gem inside Delhi's Capital Area. Normally Museum for Indians is like European place or Indian Museum one would expect to be small house like. But this is exactly what Museum is & should be. Must visit for Delithies and for Tourists from other States.
