€12 entry per person which includes the audio tour. No need to buy in advance as there was no wait on a Sunday in Mid -June
Quite a dark room but well worth the day trip to see a piece of history. Also a beautiful town and museum of the battle of Normandy for some more learning, and the large cathedral is spectacular.

Doesn't need any embellishments from me, quite amazing. Check opening times from this autumn and into 2027 as it's going to be refurbished.

Audio goes quite fast so you won't necessarily be at the right part of the tapestry as it tells you the highlights, particularly if it is busy.

Really interesting and have free audio guide, works really well.

Es ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis sich dies fast 1.000 Jahre altes Kunstwerk anzusehen. Da das Museum ab September 2025 bis Oktober 2027 aufgrund von Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen wird, sollte man sich beeilen oder seinen Besuch auf 2027/28 verschieben.

Atemberaubend und interessant. Audio-Guide in fast allen Sprachen erhältlich. Am besten bei Öffnung in der Früh besuchen, da sonst viele Gruppen vor Ort das Besichtigen erschweren.

A must visit if you are in the area. Queueing was controversial with multiple groups being let in at the expense of individuals. Which led to much agitation amongst the Brits!
Wait was a reasonable 30 mins. Viewing is made very easy by the aid of a free audio guide which kicks in as you approach the tapestry.
Entry price is reasonable but you need to visit before September as it is closing for renovation. Interesting museum upstairs with many English exhibits including a model of East Meon!!

Sehr schön anzusehen. Leider dürfen keine Fotos gemacht werden. Hunde im Museum nicht erlaubt.

Very nice presentation. A little disappointed that photographs are not allowed.

Sehr großer Andrang, man wird durchgeschoben. Es ist aber erträglich, da der Audioguide die Geschwindigkeit vorgibt. Die Erzählung auf Deutsch war kurzweilig gestaltet und der Teppich ist auch ganz lustig. Empfehlenswert und der Besuch dauert nicht ewig, das ist auch super.

Mit Audio Guide wirklich interessant die Geschichte zu erleben und dabei den Teppich "abzulaufen". Bayeux ist ein Städtchen welches erst auf den zweiten Blick viele schöne Ecken hat.

Très agréablement surprise ! Plusieurs salles intéressantes dont une dédiée a la tapisserie. La visite se réalise avec un audioguide se qui permet de bien comprendre l'histoire de cette broderie de 70m.

C'est quand même un choc, j'ai ressenti une grande émotion. Bon le commentaire audio est excellent. Après je suis passionné par l'histoire en général... l'histoire de cette tapisserie est passionnante aussi, c'est incroyable de la retrouver 1000 ans plus tard. C'est fou.

Chef d’œuvre médiéval sublime.
On est immergé dans l’histoire avec l’audio guide fourni.
Attention, ils créent un nouveau musée donc cela sera fermé jusque 2027.

No long queue to get in and progress along the tapestry was steady. The device provided was accurate and helped us to understand the story. A beautiful piece of work and worth a visit.
