Full of history from the event of WW2 and if you are visiting Normandy, this is a must visit place. Don't forget to visit the 360 degree cinema.

Un cinéma original, avec de belles images d'archives, relatant parfaitement le débarquement. Seul regret, le film projeté qui est passionnant est trop court à mon goût.
Cependant, le site autour est fabuleux entre témoignages écrits, statues et paysages surplombant la plage d'Arromanches. Un site à visiter absolument.

Very disappointed. The fact that it is a 360 cinema means it's impossible to see even half of the screens, confusing ,missed half of some very good historical film, ruined by over use of theatrical noises, glorifying a horrendous part of history. Don't waste your money there are much better museums in the area.

Rather expensive for not much. The circular cinema is supposed to be immersive but I found the visual experience more chaotic than informative. The ‘film’ is less than 10 minutes long for 7 euros. Much more informative, coherent and good value is the Bayeux museum of the battle of Normandy if you’re looking for a coherent narrative of the DDay landings and aftermath.

Lieux qui vous prends aux tripes, c'était une première fois et il y en aura d'autres, l'histoire poignante mélanger au panorama plus que magnifique, si vous visitez les côtes normande il faut s'arrêter ici.????

The statues on the cliff outside the 360 cinema are fantastic. Very cleverly done to create a fading memory of a D Day veteran rememberingredient the horrors that took place on the beach below. The cinema however is not worth the entrance fee. Most of the footage is seen in the musuem on the beach, the narration and ending is odd and not well done IMHO. This is not an immersive experience, but rather a disjointed collection of archive footage over laid with some heart rending memories. Just not very well put together. Fortunately it was free for me to view as a veteran myself.

Wer sich mit dem Thema etwas beschäftigt und im Fernsehen ein paar Dokumentationen dazu gesehen hat, braucht das hier nicht. Sonst ein gutes Kino, "guter" Film..,die 360 Grad sind allerdings nur ein dramaturgisches Verkaufsargument

Aucun intérêt d’avoir une projection sur 360°
Les images d’archives projetées sur plusieurs écrans simultanément donnent l’impression de toujours manquer quelque chose.
Dommage car les documents et la qualité sonore sont excellents.

Une expérience immersive et poignante. Le film projeté en 360° plonge le visiteur au cœur des événements du Débarquement, avec des images d’archives puissantes et une bande-son bien pensée. La mise en scène circulaire donne une autre dimension à la mémoire, à la fois visuelle et émotionnelle. Court mais très intense. À ne pas manquer pour compléter la visite des lieux historiques.

Outstanding short film all original footage. It’s impressive to achieve this scale and quality with such old film. This does not shy away from the horror and devastation. The film explains the huge collaboration effort to build a temporary port. It was in use for 10 months and helped the allies win the European war. The film shows victory was never certain - while Paris was being liberated Rouen still burned. The film shows the human cost. Absolutely worth visiting. In just 20 minutes it explains the loss and scars across all of Normandy. It is a worthy commemoration of a generations’ sacrifice.

Mal exploité

Expérience qui n'est pas inintéressante mais dont l'intérêt est limité : le film est court et peu travaillé. Des explications complémentaires auraient été bienvenues. Le procédé est finalement peu exploité. Ne mérite pas son prix, comme le parking.

We were going to skip visiting Gold Beach, and when we drove by this, we just had to stop. I recommend stopping here as it is very informative, has very nice commemorative sculptures, and a great view of the beach and the remains of the portable harbor.

Totalement déçu de ce nouveau film (bataille 100 jours en normandie) malgré quelques images d'archives... on est loin de ce film captivant qui vous donne des emotions comme celui que j'ai pu voir il y a 3 ans où j'ai versé ma petite larme... je comprends même pas que ce film projeté sur 4 mêmes écrans dans la salle (quel dommage) puisse glorifier la bataille de Normandie ! Bref un film sans intérêt qui je l'espère sera changé assez rapidement. Attention au tarif du Parking...2.50 euros de l'heure !
