The hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam, you can easily reach all the points of major interest. At the lobby everyone is friendly and really kind. I had a short but very pleasant stay in Wiechmann Hotel. The breakfast is super. I hope to be back again soon. Thank you all!

L'hôtel est vraiment très bien placé, tout est à 15min à pieds !
Notre chambre avec la vue sur les canaux était propre et la literie très confortable. Effectivement les fenêtres sont en simple vitrage mais nous n'avons pas subi de nuisances.
L'accueil est charmant et aux petits soins, nous avons adoré l'espace commun au rez de chaussée avec sa déco très vintage mais chaleureuse avec le café à disposition. Les fauteuils confortables et les bouquets de fleurs fraîches donnent au lieu une ambiance cosy et réconfortante.

Nice place to stay in Amsterdam. Beware, no elevator and the stairs are really verticals. Notice also that Rooms are not cleaned during your stay and laundry not cleaned, unless you stay more than a week. Situation is excellent Almost all places to visit in Amsterdam can be reached by walk in less than 30 minutes.

Buena ubicación, con un paseo estás en el centro. Estuve alojado en la ultima planta con vistas al canal, se agradece un poco de ejercicio, la habitación estaba genial! El trato del personal del hotel fue muy bueno. Además el desayuno estaba incluido y estaba perfecto. Sin duda en mi próxima visita volveré a repetir.

Booked a family room between Christmas and New year and had a fabulous time. Room was huge with stunning furniture and amazing canal view. The bathroom was huge as well and yes the stairs are steep but that really adds to the charm of the building. Cozy lounge for when it was raining and free hot drinks were a bonus. The breakfast was good but the dining was crowded at times but the views from your table are nice and the food good. The location is good with easy access to trams with the main station only a few stops away. Ideal for shopping with only a short walk to the main and niche shopping areas. When the family returns to the city definitely looking at booking again

Wiechmann ist seit über 15 Jahren meine absolute Nummer 1, wenn es um Übernachtungen innerhalb des Amsterdamer Grachtenring geht. Ein Hotel mit dem Flair der original Grachtenhäuser, mit Stil, schönen Zimmer und einem kompetenten und immer hilfsbereiten, freundlichen Staff. Frühstück ist niederländisch ok. Erfreulich: im Laufe der Jahre wurden die Hotelzimmer immer mal wieder renoviert, so dass man trotz der original Architektur in Zimmern übernachtet, die einen zeitgemäßen Standard haben. Es gibt Zimmer (in den unteren Etagen), die darüber hinaus stilecht möbliert sind. Im oberen Bereich findet man dagegen neu gebaute Einheiten mit solider, aber modern-funktionaler Möblierung. Die Lage an der Prinsengracht kann kaum zentraler sein: Downtown Amsterdam liegt einem komplett zu Füßen. Und: es gibt deutlich teurere Häuser in dieser hervorgehobenen Lage.
Der Flair und die besondere Atmosphäre des Übernachtens im Grachtenhaus bringt gleichzeitig auch zwei erhebliche Erschwernisse mit sich: steile Treppengänge ohne Fahrstuhl und - natürlich - mitten im Grachtenring keine hoteleigenen und eigentlich auch sonst keine Parkplätze. Das nächste, und wie fast überall in Amsterdam sehr teure Parkhaus liegt etwa 600 Meter entfernt. Schwere Koffer und allzu freizügiges Shopping in der "Kaaskamer" oder beim Antiquitätenhändler sollte man sich spätestens ab Stockwerk 2 besser sparen. Ich werde trotzdem immer wieder hier einkehren.

"Fantastic hotel. Perfectly located. Having breakfast included in the price is great, and the breakfast was delicious. The only issue with the hotel is the lack of an elevator; the stairs are extremely steep. We stayed on the 4th floor, so it was a bit challenging."

Ho trovato questo hotel molto carino, accogliente, pulito e con una bella posizione. Camera spaziosa con suggestiva vista sui canali. La scala è un po' ripida, basta fare un po' di attenzione. Ci tornerei

Albergo posizionato in maniera strategica ad Amsterdam estremamente e facilmente raggiungibile dall’aeroporto dall’albergo si può andare in tutte le direzioni a vedere tutte le altre attive Personale è molto cordiale e molto disponibile l’unica pecca forse le scale molto morbide per accedere ai vari appartamenti minima carenza di pulizia ma superabile. Estamos hospedados a día de hoy, cogimos tres habitaciones, nos han puesto dos en un lado del edificio con habitaciones nuevas y a otro en otro edificio con una habitación vieja y todos hemos pagado lo mismo, las fotos que no coinciden con lo que encontramos, no hacen limpieza en las habitaciones, tres noches sin cambiar las toallas, nos marchamos mañana y NO VOLVEREMOS

A no frills hotel but has everything that you need. It's in a great location for sightseeing in Amsterdam. The bedroom was a good size with a super comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The continental buffet breakfast was very good too offering a good selection of foods.

Un excellent moment en amoureux dans cette magnifique ville d'Amsterdam.. être dans son lit et voir les canaux c'est un plaisir , une superbe vue, bonne literie... emplacement parfait
