Man sitzt unter einem Baldachin aus Bougainvillea unterhalb der Festung sehr gemütlich. Der Kaffee ist gut, der Kartoffelsalat mit Kapern und Frühlingszwiebeln schmeckt frisch und lecker. Das alles zu einem fairen und günstigen Preis - toll

Απτα ομορφότερα μέρη του Ρεθύμνου με διάφορα! Ωραία ατμόσφαιρα και πάνω απ' όλα συνεργατικό. Αν βρίσκεσαι στην παλιά πόλη του Ρεθύμνου, ειναι ένα τέλειο μέρος να πιείς τον καφεδάκο σου το πρωί, να φας ενα νόστιμο χειροποίητο φαγητό αν πεινάς και για το βράδυ να πιείς πολύ καλή ρακή και δροσερή μπύρα, ίσως και με συνοδεία ζωντανής μουσικής που πολλές φορές θα συναντήσεις αν περάσεις απο κει.
Αα και ας μην ξεχάσω να αναφέρω το θερινό σινεμαδάκι που μας δροσίζει με ενα αεράκι πολιτισμού τις ζεστές καλοκαιρινές νύχτες!

Nice small café.
Located in a small side street and not overcrowded by tourists.
Coffee was good and not overpriced.

Gem right next to another gem - coop bars/cafès with basic food/breakfast, good drinks (fair trade coffee!), nice staff, a few antifa/action groups' items for sale and an overhaul on the latest political developments in Crete if you wish to know. Money well worth spent for a cause. Highly recommended.

Amazing place. The atmosphere is super nice and chilled, and everybody is very friendly. You eat on small tables on the street, but it is in a quiet area, not as busy as other parts of the Old Town. Sometimes they have small concert, and you can sit all around the place to enjoy music and nice drinks.

The food is great, I especially loved their dakos, the spicy baked cheese, and the meatballs. If you don't want food, it's also a great spot where to grab a drink or two. The lemonade is phenomenal. The prices are very reasonable!

If you want to have a drink or some food in the company of locals, this is the place for you: a super cozy small taverna with reasonable prices and friendly staff. I spent an awesome evening here, drinking local wines with a cute neigbourhood cat napping on the chair next to me. You get the vibe :)

Great little cafe bar a bit outside the touristy places (yet bottom of the fortress). Great wine and small plates, very cheap. Waiters are very friendly. Come by a Monday for live Kritika (local music) ???? and lively atmosphere!
