Historisches und intimes Luxushotel, das Zimmer mit allem Komfort bietet.
Diese Renaissance-Villa war der Wohnsitz der Adligen Renier, einer der größten venezianischen Familien, die sich im 17. Jahrhundert in Chania niederließen.

We stayed at Domus Renier for 2 nights and had a great time. DR is in a historic building right on the old harbor in Chania so the location can’t be beat.
The room we stayed in, the Clemente Suite, has a view of the harbor and is just 10 ft from the registration desk. There is a glass door to a short passageway so the room was quiet and still felt private.
One downside is that since the hotel is in Chania Old Town, it is pedestrian only. Car parking nearby are in free public lots about 5 minutes walk to the hotel. We were never able to get parking in those lots during our stay as they were always full with more cars waiting for a space to open up. We had to park another 3-4 blocks further on the street so getting our luggage to the hotel was a bit of a hassle.

Our vacation was exceptional in part thanks to staying in this hotel for 4 nights. The facilities, the staff, the amazing breakfast and of course the service. The terrace of the Master Bedroom is simply amazing.

We simply cannot give enough stars - 5 is not enough. The hotel is exceptional in every way - the detail to asthetics was incredible. The rooms are gorgeous - we stayed in the master suite and had an incredible balcony with 6 chairs overlooking the port. The rooms are immaculately clean, the bathroom and showers are modern with the best finishes, and the beds are extremely comfortable. And the breakfast -WOW! The menu was a la Carte and the items were scrumptious! But now, the best part is the staff and the owner herself, Ms. Litsa. She greeted us outside before we ever walked in, and every day personally checked in on us to ask how everything was going. After our 6 day stay, we felt like a member of her family! We will be back - thank you Ms. Litsa for an amazing stay in your gorgeous hotel with your impeccable staff!

The lobby is small and there's no tour of the hotel as all there really is is your room. No areas to hang out in. Not even a roof top deck. The staff was polite but not overly welcoming.
The rooms were nicely renovated but this is a historic building and as such "it is what it is". Our room looked out over the restaurant below and at times it was a bit noisy.
Breakfast is a la carte and was nice but in comparison to some of the other 5 star Greek hotels we'd stayed in it was a far cry from 5 star.
It was also pricey in my opinion compared to other accommodation we'd stayed in.
