Like every traveller we were a little sceptical when we arrived at kafolonia in spite of good reviews of the hotel , but trust me the instant we stepped into the hotel Agamemnon the hotel owner made all our doubts vanish into thin air ,he is soo friendly we felt totally at home , he was kind enough to find time to accompany us on our day trip into the island. Wish the world was made more of such people it would be a pleasure to travel around the world then .
Thank you guys for making our20 th Anniversary a memorable one .

Gezellig boetiekhotel, heerlijk ontbijt, mooie locatie, prima service

très bon séjour, l'hotel était charment et bien situé, et Katia nous a très bien accueilli et donné plein de conseils sur les activités aux alentours.

Πολυ όμορφο περιβάλλον και το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό! Καθαρά δωμάτια γενικά πολυ καλή εμπειρία το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!

Heerlijk en knus hotel, met fantastische ligging en super vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kamer was ietwat aan de kleine kant, met weinig opbergruimte. Ontbijt was heerlijk en uitgebreid. Voor op vakantie wel redelijk vroeg in de ochtend. Zeker aan te raden als perfecte uitvalbasis om het eiland te ontdekken. Bedankt Katja en Albert, en de rest van het personeel. Groetjes uit Limburg

Small family owned hotel on the side of the city centre, next to ferry and bus stop, with walking distance to shops, promenade, restaurants,etc.
Great service at the check-in, we wanted as well recommendations for local taverns and sightseeing with the trips and we got the full list ☺️????????????
We even pursued posters from town about concerts in the evening and lady at the reception looked for all necessary.
PS. There is cat and dog overlooking the order in the house so you can chill and relax that all is done to your comfort ????????

What a great stay at Katia's place! We had the 2nd floor sea view rooms which were great. Very modern. Katia, her family members and the staff are all so friendly. Katia and her family have been able to use their very interesting life experiences to create a great place to stay for tourists in Argostoli. Location is perfect for anything you might want to do in Argostoli i.e. grabbing dinner at the main square or catch a ferry to Lixouri. Communication was smooth.I bothered them so much with endless questions and yet I received all very helpful information. I will definitely stay here again when I am next in Argostoli!

Πιστευω δεν υπάρχει καλύτερο ξενοδοχείο απο το συγκεκριμένο!! Πλήρως ανακαινισμένο και καθαρό..
Κάθε μερα άλλαζαν πετσέτες και σεντόνια..
Η εξυπηρέτηση φανταστική και οτι χρειαστήκαμε για πληροφορίες στο νησί η Κατερινα(Ιδιοκτήτρια) ήταν πολυ πρόθυμη να μας βοηθήσει!!
Επίσης παρέχουν ποδήλατα προς ενοικίαση για να γνωρίσεις την πόλη του Αργοστολίου!!
Θα το ξανα επισκεφτούμε σιγουρα!!

Very Good holiday hotel. Good breakfast served to your table- so no fighting for the last pastry... Friendly staff and very clean throughout. Great location for the ferry and the square. It was difficult to unpack 2 cases as there was not a lot of storage in the rooms - otherwise it was perfect.

This was an very cute and comfortable boutique hotel in a quiet but very convenient location right along the water. The rooms were tastefully decorated, the bed comfortable, and all the amenities provided were fantastic. The host/owner, Kati’s, was amazingly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was readily available to help with any of our needs. We were so grateful for all of Katia’s guidance and hospitality throughout our stay. King A truly felt like our home away from home, and we cannot wait to return.

Καλησπέρα, πέρσι το καλοκαίρι είχαμε κάνει κράτηση δωματίου στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο πολύ καιρό πριν (κλείσαμε από τον Φεβρουάριο για τον Αύγουστο) και ήταν όλα καλά, μέχρι να φτάσουμε ????.
Μόλις ήρθε η πρώτη μέρα της κράτησης μας, ακριβώς την στιγμή που φτάσαμε στο λιμάνι της Κεφαλληνίας μας κάλεσε στο τηλέφωνο η ιδιοκτήτρια (?) του ξενοδοχείου. Στο τηλέφωνο μας είπε ότι λόγω κάποιου λάθους που είχε γίνει (που το ανακάλυψε εκείνη τη μέρα????) μας εξήγησε ότι θα μας πάει σε άλλο κατάλυμα, μας ζήτησε συγνώμη κλπ.
Όταν φτάσαμε στο ξενοδοχείο της, μας πρότεινε να μας εξυπηρετήσει στη μεταφορά για να μας πάει σε μια άλλη κυρία, η οποία είχε μεσιτικό γραφείο και θα μας πήγαινε στο άλλο κατάλυμα (ή κοτετσι, θα εξηγησω πιο κατω) που συνεργάζεται. Εμείς καταπονημενοι από το ταξίδι, διότι οι βασικές διακοπές μας ήταν στην Ιθάκη και ουσιαστικά Κεφαλλονιά θα καθόμασταν 2 βραδιά, είπαμε να ρίξουμε νερό στο κρασί μας και να μην προκαλέσουμε άλλη ταλαιπωρία στη μέρα μας.
Φτάνοντας στο κατάλυμα - κοτετσι, τα συναισθήματα μας ήταν ανάμεικτα. Από τη μία να λέμε, "Εντάξει 2 βραδιά είναι, όλη την ώρα έξω θα είμαστε " κι από την άλλη κότες και κοκορες να σουλατσαρουν στο προαύλιο του καταλύματος μέσα από σαπισμενα ξύλα και διάφορα σκουπίδια, που βρίσκεις σε παρατημένα χωράφια και όχι στην πόλη ενός νησιού.
Το κατάλυμα αυτό ανήκε σε εναν αλλον κύριο, που δεν έφταιγε σε τιποτα, οπότε δεν αξίζει να δώσω το όνομα.
Η κυρία του μεσιτικού μας είπε ότι θα μας κάνει κι έκπτωση (χαχαχαχαχαχα) της τάξεως των 10 ευρώ τη διανυκτέρευση (μάλλον για την τροφή των πουλερικών).

Αν γνωρίζαμε ότι θα έπρεπε να απευθυνθούμε στην τουριστική αστυνομία, θα το είχαμε κάνει τότε.
Προφανώς, το "λάθος" του ξενοδοχείου ήταν πως κάποιος είχε να τους δώσει πιο πολλά λεφτά από εμάς εκείνες τις μέρες, καθώς Εμείς το είχαμε κλείσει πολύ νωριτερα (άρα και φθηνότερα 60€ τη βραδια).
Ελπίζω, εάν τύχει αυτό και σε άλλους, να γνωρίζουν ότι υπάρχει τουριστική αστυνομία και η κριτική μου, να τους βοηθήσει.
ΥΓ1. Στο κατάλυμα με τις υπέροχες κοτουλες ήταν κι ένας άλλος κύριος που του είχαν κάνει το ίδιο λάθος *, οπότε μάλλον ήταν η τακτική του μεσιτικού αυτή..
ΥΓ2. Παρ' όλα αυτά, ευχαριστούμε για την μεταφορά από τα ΚΤΕΛ στην πόλη. Το μόνο θετικό.

Posizione strategica. Sul canale vicino al centro a due passi dal traghetto per Lixouri. Camere pulite e letto comodo. Balcone fornito di stendino e mollette. Vista canale (almeno le nostre). Piccolo frigobar. Proprietari gentilissimi. Colazione ottima, abbondante e ben servita. Gentili tutti, anche la piccola Mela. Possibilità di affittare bici e bici elettriche

Excellent inexpensive hotel right on the waterfront of Argostoli . The ferry to Lixouri is next to it and very hospitable hosts !
