CERF ISLAND RESORT ^{* * * *}

absolutely top. if you are looking for a relaxing place with lots of privacy. here‘s the place. very nice villas with great view and nice outside shower & jaccuzi! even it‘s a 4-star hotel. to me it‘s a 5-star!

It was a great hotel, probably one of the best we had during out holidays. Breakfast was good, dinner were fantastic! The drinks were really well made. They are organising many activities as snorkelling, visiting all close islands etc. The pick up and late transfer to the airport were perfectly scheduled.
Raj, at the front desk, was extremely polite and very attentive. Overall, the hotel was worth the stay and made our Seychelles experience memorable.

Precioso hotel a 10 minutos de Edén Island. Tienen servicio de recogida en aeropuerto con taxi que te lleva hasta el embarcadero y desde allí te recoge una lancha que te lleva al hotel. Las cabañas son muy grandes y muy confortables. El personal es muy atento y amable. Siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en todo. Organizan salidas gratuitas al arenal cuando la marea baja. Desde allí puedes pasear entre dos Islas. La comida es muy buena y abundante aunque te dan pocas opciones para escoger. Las vistas son espectaculares. Divinas. 100% recomendable.

My girlfriend booked the Cerf island resort for 9 nights and I reviewed the posts just a day before departure and got mixed feelings.

Here are my experiences from June 2023.

After a short trip from the airport by bus, a tender took us in about 5-10 minutes to the island.

We got a warm welcome and a detailed explanation about the island, food offers, and possible trips.

The villas are built into a steep slope, all quite away from each other. They are spacious and have outside showers.

A shuttle is offered from the main restaurant/lobby to the villas.

A part of the breakfast is buffet (coffee, juice, water, fruits, bread, yoghurt, …) and there is a menu for porridge, omelet, all varieties of eggs, English breakfast and cheese platter. On request, nice gluten-free options are prepared.

Lunch is a la cart and the menu starts with soups, salads, burger, sandwiches and end with pasta, pizza, and steaks.

In the morning, you already choose your a la cart menu for dinner. One soup, two options for appetizer, three options for main (including one vegetarian) and two desert options. Overall, we loved the food.

All staff members were absolutely friendly!

The jungle is quite dense on the island and a sundowner at the helipad is a must. The beach of the resort is short.

There is a sandbank close to the other side of the island and a free boat shuttle is offered three times per week. We really enjoyed it.

Internet only available at the lobby, but the receipting told us it will be changed soon. That’s pity, we enjoyed the Internet free zone in our villa ????

Recommendable spot to calm down, relaxe and as jump off point to explore the other islands.

Die ein oder andere Bewertung hier erscheint mir nach unserem 11-tägigen Aufenthalt im Cerf Island Resort etwas fragwürdig. Wir sind als Paar verreist und haben genau das gefunden, was wir auch gesucht haben. Eine wunderschöne ruhige und erholsame Auszeit.
Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Mitten in der dicht bewachsenen Natur. Dementsprechend sollte man sich nicht über Kleininsekten und Geckos wundern.
Das Resort befindet sich direkt im St.Anne Marine Nationalpark. Wer Spaß am schnorcheln hat, kommt hier auf seine Kosten. Ein hoteleigenes Kanu steht kostenlos zur Verfügung, was zur Erkundung der Umgebung sehr zu empfehlen ist.
Das Essen hat uns geschmeckt.
Preise landestypisch.
Am aller meisten hervorzuheben ist jedoch das Personal. Ohne Ausnahme Management, Rezeption, Kellner, Golfcart-Fahrer, Bootskräfte, etc. einfach nur top! Man ist hier keine Zimmernummer, sondern ein echter Gast, um den sich gesorgt wird. Hier können viele andere Hotels noch von lernen.
Alles in allem wurden unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und wir werden gerne wieder kommen.
