Chambre individuelle magnifique et moderne. Très spacieuse et très confortable. Personnel super accueillant, serviable, discret et en même temps ouvert à la conversation. De bons conseils pour les visites. Emplacement parfait, à deux pas de la Marina et du centre ville. Places de parc privées à dispo devant l'hostel. Très propre et établissement neuf.

Encara que sols passarem una nit. La sensació fou Excel.lent. Habitacions noves, netes, espai suficient, bany privat. Molt ben cuida't.

El Desdijuni inclòs, basic. Però bé (pa, mermerlada, manteca, llet/café, suc, formatge i pernil dolç).

Totalment recomanable.

Excelente hostel. Recomendo vivamente a quem pretende uma estadia em conta mas confortável. Apenas aspetos positivos a apontar: localização, conforto do espaço, pequeno almoço (tendo em conta que se trata de um hostel), limpeza, staff, ambiente familiar (senti-me em casa), wi-fi, pragmatismo e eficiência do alojamento.
Sem dúvida que voltaria a escolher este espaço numa próxima estadia.

An afortable place to stay. Nice room including a small breakfast. (Our bathroom smelled very bad, from the sewerage) The free parking is limited to 3 spots (first come firs get it). In a nice location for exploring Terceira with a car.

Awesome hostel for a night stay. The place was equipped with modern amenities and had a cozy feeling. The administration did a good job sharing relevant information before, this made check in/out seamless. Hostel provides breakfast and there is also a supermarket nearby. Location is easy to reach from the airport.

Quarto twin com bom espaço, bons lençóis e almofadas. Bastante limpo.

Bastante silencioso a noite. Ambiente familiar. Durante a minha estadia de 3 noites apenas encontrei casais e uma família com criança.

Comunicação efetuada por SMS com indicação de código para entrar no Hostel.
Excelente localização.

O aspeto menos positivo atribuo ao pequeno-almoço que não disponibiliza fruta e iogurte. Não é pelo facto de ser hostel, até porque o valor por noite para o quarto (twin) é equivalente a preço de hotel.

Tranquilo, prático, acolhedor, cama muito confortável e equipa de apoio muitíssimo simpática e acolhedora. Para hostel, inclui um simpatico pequeno-almoço! Fabuloso!

Close to the town center and also to the beach.
Very clean. Each bed has a private locker with a key. They provide you with towels, soap and shampoo for the shower (something I haven't seen in many hostels around the world).

Hostel da Palmeira is the best hostel that I’ve visit during my a month long trip!:)
Everything looks premium here.
Also impressively clean and neat!

Nice furnitures and decoration in a newly built/renovated building.
Things are delicate, sophisticated, and aesthetic!
You will feel home here!

Also the owner and staff, Andrea is very nice and welcoming. I checked around 1 AM but the owner helped me getting in.
I would love to visit again!

I stayed in the hostel for a whole week. The staff is really very friendly. The rooms clean & are thoroughly cleaned every day. The hostel has a kitchen, fridge and even icebox. The internet connection is very good. The common room and the small outdoor seating area in the greenery are very cozy. The hostel is 3 minutes walk from the beach. Bus stop and supermarket are also nearby. I could even rent a bike to ride along the promenade. Really great. I can really recommend the hostel.

Lo verdaderamente sorprendente es la buena valoración que tiene el hostal. Es un hostal si, pero con muy malas calidades... La cama, las almohadas, materiales, funda de plástico sobre la ventana cutre en vez de una cortina... La mayor pega fue que a nuestra llegada nos encontramos la habitación llena de mosquitos... Mosquitos de terceira, osea enormes, dormimos porque llevábamos insecticida y repelente en spray. Abajo tienen una cocina y un salón con mesa para comer amplia y bastante bonito (por este motivo no he puesto la mínima nota) pero la calidad del desayuno es pésima ( para que te hagas una idea el zumo es 95%agua y 5% zumo de bote de naranja y no exagero!! Es como beber agua con color...) Muy muy triste, porque aunque el precio no sea el de un hotel de 4 estrellas la noche en este hostal ni mucho menos te la están regalando... Muy caro para lo que es, no vale ni para ir solo a dormir por la noche porque no se duerme nada bien.

Would give 6 stars if I could. This place is amazing and great value for the money. Perfectly clean, new everything, comfortable beds, lots of space in your room and common areas and the staff is fantastic. Stay here!

Tot wel 6x probeerde iemand onze kamer binnen te komen na middernacht en was er veel lawaai van bij de receptie. Bleek dat het de receptionist van het hotel zelf was omdat er een probleem was met de kamers. Ik kreeg als antwoord dat wij in de juiste kamer lagen zonder enig excuus. Ook toen ik zei dat we 4u later moesten opstaan voor onze vlucht kreeg ik geen antwoord en bleef de situatie nog even doorgaan. Vreselijke nacht dus.

I‘ve been to many places before, but this one is the crème de la crème of all hostels. Newly renovated, chique both from the inside and out, and the personnel is super friendly. I came here in the early evening from the Aeropuerto das Lajes and it took me only a couple of minutes by taxi to arrive at this house. They even gave me a bike to tour around for free. 10/10, muito obrigado!

Das Hostel liegt ruhig in einer kleinen Seitenstraße, nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Strand und der Strandpromenade entfernt. Viele Restaurants und Cafés können somit fußläufig schnell erreicht werden. Die Einrichtung des Hostels ist sehr gepflegt, das Interieur modern und geschmackvoll. Wir haben ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad im Erdgeschoss bewohnt. Für ein Hostel waren wir sehr positiv überrascht von der hochwertigen Ausstattung, dem großen und bequemen Bett sowie dem modernem Duschbad. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin war sehr professionell, da wir spät eingecheckt und früh wieder ausgecheckt haben, alles per chat. Zudem hat uns die Gastgeberin ein Taxi zum Airport bestellt. Auch diesen Service können wir sehr empfehlen.
