nice hotel close to the vatican but still a walk looks closer than it really is, also very far from everything else that you might want to see. breakfast was good room was clean could update there pillows very hard and the shower is pretty small.
A nice stay in a clean and historic hotel in a fantastic location. Really appreciated the free hot & cold breakfast in the morning (the coffee was fantastic). Would recommend bringing ear plugs if you want the window open. As noted in other reviews, the shower is small (reminds me of a camp shower in the US). This was not a deterrent for me, but I was forewarned by a colleague who recommended the location.
Fat people will have major problems with the showers, if the shower in my single room was indicative of those throughout the hotel. Even though I’m not fat, the shower was still quite cramped for me. I found myself imagining what it would be like if I were fat inside of such a shower. First, I’d be enraged with myself for letting myself become fat. Then I’d be disappointed with the hotel for not updating the showers since so many people today, especially Americans, have let themselves become incredibly, enormously fat.
As for the room, it was adequate. This place is really all about location. If you want to be as close to St. Peter’s Basilica as possible, this is the place to be.
This place was right in the middle of it all. Within walking distance of St. Peter's Basilica and is right inside the Vatican Square. The only down fall was no AC and the shower was tiny. So if you're a bigger person do not recommend. However, we came during the winter so we just kept our window open. Beautiful experience. They have a garden as you walk in. You have to be buzzed in and they will give you a code to get in after hours.
great location. cozy rooms, very nice garden, polite staff. The only thing that was really missing was good coffee for breakfast. Otherwise everything is great, I'll definitely be back
Yes the rooms are small in comparison to USA but you find that everywhere in Europe. The hotel is in a fantastic location. The breakfast included is very good and the front desk people are helpful and friendly.
Would recommend this comfortable, cozy location. The staff was outstanding prior to and during our stay. It is located in St. Peter’s front yard. I would use it as my go to whenever traveling to Rome. The breakfast was excellent.
One of the closest hotels to St. Peter's Square, this majestic and ancient palace built by a prince of the Catholic Church, is probably the best place to stay in Rome for those who want to be close to the Vatican. Incredibly beautiful courtyard, comfortable rooms (even if slightly small compared to US hotels,) first class service and very good, abundant buffet-style breakfast makes this place a deserved favorite.
Lovely building and setting, perfectly placed for St Peter's Basilica & Square. Breakfast was excellent, but unfortunately, there's no food available in the evenings. Our 1st floor room was good with a fridge with bottled water provided every day, but there were no tea/coffee making facilities.
We went as a couple, I can't rave enough about this hotel near the Vatican - it's an absolute gem! From the incredible location to the attentive staff (24/7 receptionist) and breathtaking views, it's a five-star experience through and through. If you're heading to Rome and spending time in the Vatican, this is the place to stay! It's a 10-15 min walk to the center
In terms of location, this hotel is unbeatable. However, in terms of quality of rooms, it’s incredibly overpriced. The rooms are old, the bathroom was cramped with a cheap concertina door on the shower and corners and an under sink area that hadn’t been cleaned properly.
The double bed was two single beds pushed together, making it quite uncomfortable to sleep in as a couple.
Breakfast was decent with a reasonable selection of food.
The room was comfortable and quiet, staff were very courteous and helpful with our questions, and the breakfast spread was excellent. The courtyard was a great escape from the busy street. The location really couldn't be beat though; just steps from St. Peter's and short walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, gelato, etc. Highly recommended.
Dur d'être mieux situé si votre priorité est le Vatican...en sortant de l'hôtel il est juste en face!La Basilique Saint Pierre se trouve vraiment a 50m

Overall very good ????
Great location,staff great,good-not great breakfast. Great Wi-Fi
Really tired inside, small bath. For the price and reviews I expected much, much more.
Can’t recommend.
