Das 1915 eröffnete und unter Denkmalschutz stehende Hotel ist das älteste noch in Betrieb befindliche Hotel in Platres. Aus diesem Grund haben wir uns entschieden, es zu empfehlen. Denn auch wenn der Service und die Qualität dieses ehemaligen Palastes nicht mehr zeitgemäß sind, schätzt man vor allem das Retro-Ambiente, die überraschende Einrichtung des Salons mit der Kiefer, die durch den Teppich und das Dach gewachsen ist. Schon allein deshalb kann man hier einen Drink genießen. Das Restaurant hingegen ist den Umweg nicht wert. Ein Teil des Hotels wurde kürzlich restauriert und alle Zimmer verfügen über WLAN und Fernseher. Sechs von ihnen wurden in Studios mit Küche umgewandelt. Die Direktion ist sich der Schwächen des Hauses bewusst und bietet häufig Preisnachlässe an.

Very small bedrooms and not very clean.
The beds were hard as rock and the pillows were basically a pancake.
