LE BISTROT DE L'OUSTALET

Un très joli moment dans cet établissement. Tout commence par l'accueil et le service avec notamment un échange avec le sommelier qui nous a fait un très joli programme (le prix par personne est surtout a cause du vin, pas au prix de la nourriture). Le responsable était très intentionné (merci pour les petits échanges qui rendent ces moments plus personnalisés) et les serveurs très compétents !
Nous avons pris qu'un plat pour 2 et c'était très bon, mention spéciale pour la sauce citronnée (et toujours sympa de voir le chef passer en salle).
Ambiance très cosy avec petite musique d'ambiance mais qui ne prend pas le dessus quand on se parle. A très vite !

Très bon moment. Tout était parfait. La cuisine est excellente, raffinée et la présentation dans les assiettes est superbe. Nous avons parlé quelques instants avec le cuisinier qui est très sympathique.Toutes nos félicitations au sommelier pour ses conseils et son amabilité. Le responsable est très agréable. Un petit clin d'œil à l'apprenti dont c'était sa première journée et qui s'est bien débrouillé. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

The place did not meet our expectations when we were there. The starter was ok but the main dish, lamb and potatoes was cold, overcooked meat and potatoes which seemed to be from lunch time (very dry). However the wine selection was great and the service was nice. Would recommend the owner of the place to make sure to have enough staff at work. I see you already got a similar feedback three weeks ago.

Service was excellent and this was a pretty little bistro.

My wife and I both ordered the Falafel dish. This was a serious disappointment, especially for the price. There were only 3 falafels and they were so dry that they literally crumbled into dust when cut apart (they tasted like they were made with chickpea flour and water).

There were also very few zucchinis slices, and the other half of the plate was 2 additional pieces of bread. We already had bread on the table so additional bread with the falafels was really not required. Adding a few more (moist) falafels or extra vegetables would have been greatly appreciated.

The salmon starter was tasty but my wife's cucumber soup was finished in several spoonfuls. Again, a larger portion of soup for the price would have been appreciated (the soup was tasty but the portion size was very small). See the attached picture of the falafel plate - if you remove the two large pieces of bread, you will see that there is very little actual food on the plate for the price paid.

Also, because it was raining, we were placed inside the restaurant near a table of 8 consisting of four babies who cried continuously throughout our meal. The family did apologize to us for the noise, but it was still too loud for our liking when sitting for an expensive meal.

The wine list was excellent and the sommelier was very lovely and very helpful. My wife enjoyed a wonderful bottle of white thanks to her recommendation.

So overall, the wine was terrific but the falafel meals were terrible. Also, portion sizes should definitely be larger for the price.

Thanks again for the very excellent service, but we probably won't be back.

Was für eien Entdeckung! Ein exzellentes Gesamterlebnis. Der Abend war ein toller Erfolg. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und extrem freundlich. Die Sommelière hat uns sehr interessante Weine angeboten, die hervorragend zum Essen gepasst haben.
Das Essen war exzellent.
Es war eien neue Entdeckung für uns, und wir werden nochmal kommen. Am liebsten, 6/5 Sterne
